    Hey steelersrule6.

Yes, the Steelers miss a "Healthy Ben". I wonder if he was hurt during the pre-season given how poorly he played during the first two games this year. If he was hurt, shame on him for not disclosing. We probably lose the NE game anyway but as much as you may not like Rudolph, he actually played well against Seattle (game where he came in for Ben). Might have been his best game. And the overall cost of that game may come to haunt us in the long-term playoff hunt. It was Moncrief's Blunder: Tipped ball, lead to Seattle interception, that lead to Seattle TD, that ultimately cost us that game. Take care.

    Hey steelersrule6.

Been meaning to talk to you about this for awhile now. I get your love for Tomlin since I have joined the board. That is fine. However, this is the same story with fans of all teams. His overall W-L record cannot be disputed. It is outstanding. I just think, myself included, that with all of the talent that he has had to work with over the years (especially on the "O") that he has left an impression of "Underachievement".

Add to that the Fact/Myth/Perception that he is a so-called "Defensive Guy" and that seems to have been our biggest "Underachieving" area under his tenure. More specifically, his so-called "Expertise" as a "Secondary Guy". Look at all of the secondary players that have been drafted under his helm that have not panned out. Is it that we are that bad at drafting Secondary Personnel time and time gain or is this a myth that has followed him from his Pre-Steeler tenure?

You would have to think that with all these secondary picks, and basically none panned out (maybe Keenan Lewis) where is the Teaching/Coaching ability of this man. That is what coaching is. It is synonymous with Teaching. One in the same.

Every team has its vulnerable points, players and coaches. That is why you hope that these weaknesses can be compensated with a quality supporting coaching staff (OC, DC, and STC). In my opinion, all three of ours are operating "Below the Line". Have a great night my friend.

Yeah the Steelers held off the 0-11 Bengals for the win and at the end of the day a win is a win. BUT

with the way this offense looks I can’t see them win another game this year?? Unless JuJu and Connor come back soon and actually perform.

Jets might be the best shot but that’s on the road and they appear to be playing a little better.

    Hey steelersrule6.

Sorry about that. I just figured that you are so passionate about your guy Tomlin that you may want to talk about it in depth a little bit. I will keep that in mind the next time we chat. Have a great night. Take care.

Steelers suck. Worst 6-5 team in the league. Cowboys are the best 6-5 team.

I was just messing with you, I read it. The Steelers haven't drafted secondary players well, but with the free agent signings they're starting to play better.

I'd put that on Ben, AB, & Bell more than Tomlin. Not to mention no playmakers on defense during that time. Tomlin has trouble with high scoring games more than low scoring ones.

Not when you make ridiculous statements like the HC has no business being a coach , your credibility is shot.

I'd be surprised if Steelers win 3 more games. 8-8. 7-9 more likely

This is just ridiculous. I have been calling for the Steelers to move on from Tomlin since the loss to the Raiders last season, but to say that he doesn't belong anywhere near an NFL team given his resume is a joke.

This team is awful. Defense is inconsistent and an injury away from being irrelevant. Offense is a bunch of 2nd and 3rd stringers who wouldn't start on any other team except the Bengals.

    Hey Formerscribe.

I have somewhat lightened up on my criticism of Tomlin since joining this board. Overall, I still do not think he is a top HC. Maybe middle of the pack. Given that, he has his strengths and weaknesses like all other HCs in the league. However, I do feel the time has come for a changing of the guard.

I will take a 10 win season, even if they look like a 6-10 team .
