Great just what this board needs another wannabe psychologist. I’m always amazed that with some of your guys superior knowledge and insight that you would choose to waste your time trying to psychoanalyze and judge people on a sports message board. I would think your superior education could be best served helping people with real issues. I wouldn’t want a lawyer who doesn’t know how to talk to people representing me....that’s for sure.

Personal attacks aren’t necessary just because of a difference of opinion.

Oh I didn’t realize you two were friends. Who’s the pot and who’s the kettle? Show me a example of one of my posts denigrating a fellow poster unsolicited....

You say you don’t have stats to back up your point so you’ll use the Eyeball test and then go on to say these are facts and not your opinion? interesting

What's interesting to me is that's the only thing you took away from the entire post. But whatever dude.

Well if we’re being fair that statement seemed to raise questions to your whole “facts and not opinion “ stance?

I’m fine with whatever happens with Tomlin. Not like I have a say in it anyway.

If Tomlin were to win 4 of final 5 games, including vs the Browns, that would put him at 10 wins. With all these practice squad players, that’s quite an achievement. Is it his best job yet? Hard to tell, given that the season isn’t finished yet. But the coaches for Buffalo, SF, and Baltimore are making strong cases for coach of the year as well.

Yep you're right. The point about clock management didn't have a stat to back it up and was purely my opinion. But let's just gloss over the other 5 statements backed up by data. And you wonder why you get insulted on here. Cmon man.

There’s no wondering when it comes to you. Your super aggressive on the message board. I’m not scared or impressed.
Anyway if you have every read any of my posts you’d know that I’m not a big fan of Tomlin especially as of late. And yes you make some valid points regarding Tomlin which are some of the reasons I wanted to move on from him.

I can also recognize when he’s doing a good job. I think the big reason some of you guys refuse to acknowledge anything good about Tomlin is your afraid that any accomplishments may keep him around longer.

IMO some of you have went from wanting “what’s best for the Steelers” to “what’s best to get Tomlin fired”

Tomlin coached a good game today.
Good game plan. If we keep winning Tomlin will definitely be in the discussion for coach of the year.

I don’t think he will win it but man I can’t believe he might win 8 games with this offense. Gotta tip my hat

This could be Tomlin's best year Coaching. Making due with what he has left after key injuries. No idea how we will finish. Arizona and Jets could be wins but Bills are a better team and no way we beat the Ravens unless it's a meaningless game for them. If we somehow go 10-6 it will be an amazing season. Not sure 9-7 gets us in playoffs. I still say this is a 8-8 team but never know.

If Tomlin starts Rudolph in Arizona (he won't) this board would be funny as hell to follow.

He even had what should have been a great challenge. He really should have won that one. Not sure what the refs were smoking today.

An 8-8 season deserves praise and we have a shot to go 10-6 or 11-5 if Balt doesn’t need the game

The tough part is we will never win it all again with TOMLIN and everybody knows it but his overall record makes it tough to fire him for sure.

Like you said it’s a bit of a catch 22 I always want the Steelers to win but that means more playoff disappointments and failed expectations with MT at the helm

I know how it feels to be psycho analyzed....see sig.

Tomlin has done a good job this year. There is no denying it at this point. I've been one of his biggest critics here, but he deserves major props for a 7-5 record with what he has to work with.

Coach of the year should be decided when Bills vs Steelers. Steelers win Tomlin gets it.

Whatever, there is no downside in a Steelers victory. Unless of course the only thing you can think about is hating Tomlin.

    Everyone knows it?
No just all the people who don’t like Tomlin think it.
Truth is no one knows anything for certain when it comes to what Tomlin can still accomplish.

Tomlin has done something this season with little to work with. I'll give him that. He even won with MR at qb. But a BETTER coached team would likely be 9-3 or better. The fact that it took him so long to pull MR is enough to knock him out of the running for coach of the year. He's responsible for the entire incident at the end of the first browns game for crying out loud. 8-8 isn't an accomplishment if you should have been 13-3. Tomlin shouldn't be considered COTY. He shouldn't even be considered to make it through the offseason. The only way he should get credit for a good season is if we win at least one playoff game. Then I will sing his praises.

I don't know it. I'd be happy if the Rooneys replace him after the season, provided that it's with someone qualified AND available! I'd be happy if he stays and he has a healthy squad for next season. I'm not a fan of change just for the sake of change!

You foot in the mouth Tomlin haters are really starting to sound pitiful, this one thinks the Steelers should of gone undefeated despite playing 11 games with a poor mans Cliff Stoudt and a duck caller at QB and a practice squad offense. You haters always seem to amaze me.

You Tomlin apologists refuse to accept the reality that Tomlin has been handed a great deal and has had very average results.
