They cover every game don't they? Their point was they could understand both sides of the argument of using the timeout or saving it. I value their opinion over fans on a message board .

The franchise QB played like :poopy: also, I will stand behind that too. Throwing the ball out of the endzone on the last play not even giving the WRs a chance to make a play wtf was that.

    Fixed it for you.

Most of those guys don't know a football from a doughnut. Good luck forming an opinion around their opinion.

I really couldn't say because I mostly only get my Steelers news from here. Well I do like to watch Agree to Disagree on the Steelers app. They are actually close to the team though ya know? They also don't pull any punches. I read Steelers Depot too. Do you consider them pretty "reputable" I guess?

I disagree, I listen to different podcasts from Pittsburgh those are guys who have worked covering the Steelers for a long time. Guys like Mark Kaboly, David Todd, Tim Benz, Guy Junker, Ken Laird.

If Ben throws a game winning TD would the clock management be a big deal?

Ben played bad and Tomlin sucks at clock management. These things are facts.

Maybe Ben would have threw a TD if they had a little more time and yes, if Ben played better overall, they likely dont need those precious seconds.

One fact doesn't change the other.

Maybe Tomlin thought the TOs meant turnovers and figured we alre
add to that Tomlins "obvious" contradiction during a question about Dri's kneel down and Bens assinine comment that BFT alluded to ,add those up and you'll be left scratching your head til it bleeds.

I think people tend to forget when clock management was good. I think this clock management stuff is way overblown by the fans. Sometimes coaches get it right and sometimes they don't. The Steelers coaches had many times where they managed the clock well.

The football gods have a way of forcing teams lose games when a team gives the ball away 3 times. The Steelers were going to lose the game regardless of how the clock was managed in the final 2 minutes based on the way they turned the ball over. Turnovers generally hurt or help teams more than any other factor on game day.

I have 2 knocks on Tomlin- one is that he doesn't make adjustments that well at halftime- at least not as well as Cowher who was a master of that- and that repeatedly they have chances to put games away in the 4th quarter by managing the clock better, and blow it. Today they made the plays to get that win, but not always.

I hated Arians (shuddered at the WR screen that went for 1 yard today) so I really like Haley but his playcalling was **** today. WAY too many passes in the 4th. You can't finish a team by giving them 4 or 5 possessions in the final quarter!

At the 11 minute mark Ben led a 1:30 minute drive after which the Raiders cut the lead to 7.

RUN the ****ing ball! Deangelo was killing them. So mad that the Steelers can't protect a 14 point lead in the 4th to a mediocre team.

Some of that is Tomlin's responsibility too- HC should ensure they run out the clock properly.

I know right. He has not developed his "clutch coaching" skills as of yet. Took him a while as well, but Cowher had that aspect of the game down to a science before he left.
This waiting game us fans have to play before Tomlin comes into his own is beyond aggravating.
