RB, Travis Etienne. Tremendous receiver out of the back field, like Bell but with HR potential every time he touches the ball. Not as big as Bell though.

Probably their OT Jackson Carmen, too.

Would be nice to have a Real back again. Was never sold on Connor being a True #1 back.

Jackson Carman would have been a great tackle option had his arms measured longer. At 32 5/8, that is simply not going to cut it as an Offensive Tackle. That said, Amari Rodgers is definitely someone I had enjoyed during the 2020 College Football Season. Nabbing him in Round 2 if JuJu does indeed leave would be a good idea.

Chubba Hubbard in the same mold as Etienne. Both productive and would fit. Lots of good ones in this draft.

    Etienne ran 4.41

That's about what I was thinking. His burst is crazy.

    Yeah. Heard the same.
They say his natural playing weight has been about 209, but he put on some weight while training.
At least on NFL network that's what they were saying.

What did the 2 Wrs run. I seen them but Never heard?
I know one Wrs ran some Rb drills , but I didn't catch their times.
Never mind. I finally found it.

Travis Etienne is my draft crush this year. He doesn't need to break tackles. He runs right past them. His burst is so ridiculous guys can barely get a handful of his jersey. He is small, but he doesn't run that way. Even in short yardage he seems to always be going downhill. The more I watch of him, the more I think Etienne is a once in a generation type player.

Personally I think the Steelers would have to trade up to get him. I think Etienne will go in the middle of the first round. His pass catching ability will make him attractive even to teams that don't necessarily need a first round back.

Give me Javonte Williams or Harris. Steelers need a back who can power out an extra yard or 2 when needed

Man....I like a lot of backs this year. The 2 you named , Etienne, and others. So......I hope if they take one....they just don't panic , and trade up 2 get one. IMO

Even know I am looking for a back in the mold of Henry this year, I’d be very happy with Etienne.

And I believe he is the exact same size as Kamara, doesn’t seem to be hurting him.

Many players at Clemson, next to Alabama they recruit more 5 star players
    than anybody, save maybe OSU.

thats the thing though, you have 5 star recruits blocking for these guys. sure they will look good compared to others. find the guys that did near the same on teams that don't have the best of the best and that would be where i'm looking. there are several of those guys out there. if those other backs got to run behind bama's, clemsons, OSU's lines, we would be talking about them instead. guys like hubbard, stevenson, mitchell, williams, carter, doaks and a few others. running backs run through holes and until those holes are there it doesn't matter who or where we draft them. put harris or etienne on NC state team ( not to pick on them really just a for instance) and they wouldn't be at the top of the board most likely.

Mac, these people also get the best athletes, that makes a big difference and play
for the most part top competition week in and week out.

well there are only so many RBs that will be picked and more then that of top athletes at any one position. say the country has 5 top RB's alabama gets one, ohio state gets one, clemson gets one, that leaves two others theoretically that go somewhere else. some kids want to stay closer to home for different reasons. it doesn't mean they are not as quality as the top 3 were. just that the top 3 were running behind a top 3 line. sure they will look better. there are so many kids out there that are really good and if they go to cincinnati instead of ohio state they won't look quite as good at cincinnati then they would in columbus. put them behind the exact same line and you probably won't see much difference no matter who they are playing against. ohio state and alabama put out new good RB's every year. does that mean the kid from two years ago is that much better then the one this year? he started over him for two years. was joe burrows not good until he got to the SEC? was he not good at OSU? was mahomes not as good because he played in the big 12 against inferior competition? no. they were both good in college but how they were used or the system they operated in was different and may have fit them better.

I believe, Texas A&M, and Georgia are very close in that also. Hell I'd put Florida in that also.
    That's what's Scary 2 me about Mond.
