If they played the first game on Thursday, you could almost see it. But the second to last game.
Anyway, even though Tomlin took the blame, I’m passing that onto Danny Smith. He should be the one most enthusiastic of getting additional players suited up.
SEE THIS, right here...Is why I cash in Tomlin the way I do... YOU'RE the HC...NO OTHER HC, Had this problem! YOU played the next to last game!
Then uses his big, fancy, dumb Ass cliches/ words.. That HE thinks makes him sound smart but...Makes him sound like an idiot imo
When Tomlin loses his first game, do you have nitroglycerin pills handy? Something other than "I told you so?"
And this folks is why we can't get over the hump unless we have a stacked roster. This is busch league from a 14 year coach and suppose to be one of the best in the league? LOL
That extra player really helped the Giants.
Not the point. Pure laziness and lack of preparation. We've all thought it and this right here proves it. He had months, one of the last games of the week, and still doesn't understand the rules he needs to know as a HC.
I'll go with he didn't need the extra guy & he knew it.
Not what he said. He said he didn't understand the rules and wasn't prepared.
Ever hear of the word humble? Or responsibility? No one is the perfect coach you pine for. Tomlin is the reason we only have 6 SBs? Don't insult our intelligence, peddle that crap on the Browns board where they are grasping at straws.
Definitely a screw up as there is no reason not to activate as many players as possible. As the head coach Tomlin ultimately to blame. If he can't stay on top of the rule changes then he needs to have someone do it for him.
Yeah he took responsibility for not being prepared. He didn't dress one less guy because he didn't need him like you are trying to suggest. He's had months to understand the rules and didn't. Lack of preparation and it's the exact reason why this team has been underachievers under him. He's had all the talent in the world. Talent has carried him majority of the time but always falls short. That's where good coaching would have got them over the hump not somebody who doesn't know how many players he can have out on the field.
Someone should have caught it.
Sounds to me like he did understand the rules. Fail, try again. Maybe it slipped his mind while he was preparing the actual people that would be on the field. He took the heat, deal with it.
Just like he doesn't understand when to use timeouts, roster decisions, drafting, etc. Now we can add one of the simplest things you will never see a coach in any league not understand.. How many players can I dress.
Name one coach that talent hasn't carried? I'm waiting ...
That's why he has been one of the better head coaches the last decade. You make no sense TODS backwards.
Doesn't understand drafting? While he isn't solely responsible for drafting, which teams do a better job?
His approach to drafting is the same laziness he shows in understanding the rules. When in doubt just draft some random player from MD he knows and nobody else does.
As I said before, he is part of a group making drafts. And as I asked, who does better? You want to criticize, but you can't do the basic legwork to answer the question.
Seahawks and Saints have recently. Colbert and co had a great track record way before Tomlin. The weakest link on the D is a clear cut Tomlin pick... Edmunds. 1st round bust.
Yeah, and that Watt guy is pretty stinky too. Damn Maryland players!
Watt is from and played in Wisconsin like all his bros.
So no one was aware of the extra players that were allowed?
Not even the guys on the Inactive list?
If I was on the Inactive list I’d sure know the new rule.
Heck due to Fantasy, most fans know the rule.
Better get the players and coaches all learned up!
It’s called sarcasm.
