Tomlin-3 year extension? Really??

Obviously alot of people care.

 

In Tomlin's postgame presser, he said his only requirement was "100% participation"; he let the team hash out what they would do, if anything. The team couldn't agree on a particular behavior, so the team agreed to stay in the tunnel for the anthem.

To the point is, the players decided as a group to stay in. Fans who care are trying to pin the loss on that pregame stuff. That's a tenuous assumption. Without that assumption to open the door, it's just people posting their own political views.

(I'm not addressing the merits of any behavior during the anthem. Nor do I feel I have to trot out my own bona fides to be permitted to have an opinion.)

 

I hate to say it but, AV may walk away if this continues he seems like a young man of morals, honor, and respect. Plus he's college educated he doesn't need the NFL to prosper. I hope it doesn't come to that but who knows.

 

Actually they could not agree weather to kneel or stand so they agreed to hide in the tunnel, except for my hero Big Al.

 

They played like crap today. I doubt it had much to do with the pregame stuff.

 

I'd imagine the backlash from the fans is going to be worse than anything else. I'm sure a lot of the comments are knee jerk , but you should go to the Steelers website and read some of the comments. The vast majority of fans seem to be quiting on the team.

 

Well they should get over it , the players aren't trying to do what the fans think they should do.

I'm sure most people will get over it, but it's not going to be so quick for most.

 

No they aren't to get that upset over the players decision of 2 minutes pregame anthem, just change the channel at the beginning if it bothers you that much.

 

According to the comments there's a lot of longtime fans that are mad. hard to write them off as not being real fans.
I get the guy who gets mad because we're playing bad and says he's done with the Steelers being called "not a real fan"
This is a much more serious issue.
