Honestly. I'll be the bigger man here. Good luck to Todd. Haley was brought in here to prolong Ben's career by not getting him hit on every play like Bruce did. Todd accomplished that, and we had some pretty good statistical years in the process. I'm not sure what's worse, getting canned by the Steelers, or having to work for the Browns, but either way, thanks for the memories.

What do they have to lose? If they win just one game with him they will be celebrating like the hit the lottery.

 

They just rehired a HC that went 0-16. Sounds like pretty good job security to me.

It was never about his schemes but boy his game time calls were horrible at the wrong times. Just wish he would of went outside our division due to his knowledge of our team tendencies.

 

Yeah, but not really sure the patience applies to him. Our offence was very successful under him and Ben has never been better

Well that's it were losing to the Browns 2 times a year because old Todd's going to make that offense relevant.

 

Plus picks 1 and 4 this year as well.

 

Let's be real here Haley could only run an offense that Ben signed off on here. If he had said hey I have two good backs and a good blocking FB and a top notch OL I want to feature some 3 back sets and really focus on using Bell and Conner as a one two punch with some serious passing to the two, Ben would have balked, AB would have sulked and most fans would have gone balistic. The Steelers are what they are. If he is hoping to be a HC again a clean slate might be a good move for him.

 

They put together a solid draft I think they could challenge the Bengals, maybe not the Steelers but definitely the Bengals.

 

IDK brother, I appreciate your positive attitude, but Haley's stats are totally inflated by Ben's greatness. When they run Haley's actual play calls, they suck.

Seriously, unless our new OC throws out the old playbook, we could be looking at a couple of losses to the Browns next season.

 

Whatever happens, the young QB's in Cleveland won't get their hands held.
