Tell him Charles averages a fumble every three and a half games while Bell has fumbled once in 31 games. Hard for me to take Charles seriously when he runs with the ball carried off his body as he does. Seriously, he single-handedly gave away the Broncos game this year. Why wouldn't he have two hands on the ball with one minute left in the game?

Anyways Bell also outgained him by 900 all-purpose yards last season... which is a season of production for a lot of RBs.

I've often said I was a fan of two teams. The Steelers and whoever is playing the Cowgirls! We could also insert Rats and Cheatriots there as well, lol.

Yeah I can't stand the cowgirls either. I can say though that I would pretty much root for the Chiefs over any other AFC team besides us and would root for them totally if we were out of it. I've always thought they were a great franchise and have a cool atmosphere at their stadium. Also their fans are really passionate and devoted. Sorta like us but without all the hardware. I always liked Derrick Thomas, Tony Gonzalez, Marcus Allen, and Joe Montana as well. Although Joe and Marcus weren't "true" Chiefs I still watched them play there some when I was really young and always wanted them to do good. Also Priest Holmes and Dante Hall a little later.

Yeah, they always seem a decent franchise with a solid fanbase and some good players over the years. Somewhat similar to how I think of Green Bay. I still struggle to see Allen and Montana as Chief's, though.

I just can't get excited about rooting for anybody else if the Steelers are out of it, so I stay interested by rooting against teams.

As for Montana with the Chiefs, I saw him in Atlanta against the Falcons in the mid 90s. He was the old Joe Cool that night throwing for 350 yards and 3 TDs in leading the Chiefs to the victory. Glad I got to see the Legend in person.

I really don't see them as Chiefs either but they were there when I was little and that's where I really remember the most of getting to watch them play. Although the first Super Bowl that I have distinct memories of was when SF dismantled Denver 55-10. I really liked the 9ers and the Broncos then though because I loved Jerry Rice, Montana, and Elway. The 9ers are actually the NFC team I've always liked the most but then they got Harbaugh and I suspended my like of them but now I like them again. LOL.

I've posed the question before that if there wasnt a Steelers franchise, what fan base would you want to be a part of. I think it might be KC. Great fan base, great sports town from college to the pros. Green Bay would be another good choice, probably a better choice since they have a winning tradition :lolol:

Sure you would. If Steelers didnt exist, you wouldnt have this allegiance to them. Cant miss what you never had. You naturally would be a fan of someone else.

Exactly. It's like the same thing with me where if Ducktales didn't exist then Batman The Animated Series would be my favorite cartoon ever and if that didn't exist then The Real Ghostbusters Season 1 and 2 would be my favorite show ever and if that didn't exist then TMNT would be my favorite show ever. You will always have something that is your "favorite" and other things that you also like a lot but just not "as much" as the thing you like the most. I LOVE all those things but just love one thing the most.

I find it difficult to watch a non-Steelers game as a complete neutral. I always find myself wanting someone to win. Sometimes I'm like Jack, and don't want one team to win (Cowboys, Pats, Ravens etc.) so automatically root for the other guys. Sometimes, there are certain teams I'm more disposed to - if it's Chiefs vs Chargers, say, then I'll usually tend towards the Chiefs.
