The Steelers draft position is the absolute worst in football. 19th.

The last draft spot of teams that don't make the playoffs.

    Getting no help there.

Maybe they should put that on a tshirt and let him wear it.

No way the Rooney's fire him though - their rule got him hired.

Thank you! Somebody besides myself finally said it. They are stuck with him. No matter how many coordinators they hire and fire, the results are the same. But Coach Clique is here to stay because he’s a smooth talker. And the Steelers will never sniff another Super Bowl with his cheerleading. Never.

If they gave out press conference championships he's undefeated.

Maybe that's what they want. Be the best PR organization.

Their rule got him a interview, it doesn't mean it got him hired .

I don't know, his press conferences are awfully boring and repetitive to me :) "We'll own that. That's on us." And my personal weekly favorite. "We have to be better. We'll get that fixed."

The only way he leaves is him resigning if the media and fans make his life a living hell. Bill Cowher said he knew it was time to move on when he started to get football advice from some guy pumping gas next to him who was irate after a loss.

Fans always complain about the press conference, then don't watch it simple as that . Like any NFL HC does anything in those press conferences but talk in clichés, Belichick all he does is mumble in his.

TBH, I couldn't care less about draft position. The Steelers could easily make draft day moves in order to select the players they want and need. They do not. Other teams do it. We will not. There were guys on the draft board that could have helped the defense. We chose to select a third string quarterback another wide receiver, and a tackle. We made one trade during camp, for yet another wide receiver. Draft position doesn't matter. How you use your selections does. You reap what you sow.

If they draft 19th, it would make it easier to move up if they wanted to. It would be better than picking in the late twenties, like they usually do.

They can throw the Bengals game and improve their draft position. Would that make you feel better?

The biggest kick in the groin is that the AFC representative in the SB will most likely be the Pats as usual or the Rats. KC is already starting to choke.

I agree. Bellicick is awful and I'd rather listen to Tomlin. I miss coaches who'd get angry in press conferences after losses.

Draft position does matter, to make draft moves you have to mortgage your future, that's not the Steelers MO. Say if they had a top 15 pick in the last draft, then they could've drafted Derwin James or Vander Esch instead of Edmunds .
