Laugh, then Cry, then Puke. In that order.

Talk to us again if symptoms last longer than one week.

this is a classic tomlin's team we already seen it before , is only ben and the receiver that are working for themself , the rest is a tomlin creature from the draft to the sideline , do you see what is building ? a new tampabay

We'd still lose by a field goal.

At this point I'm hoping for 3-13 so Tomlin gets his ass fired. Sick and tired of this ineffective HC. He can't ride Cowher's coat tails any more and gets exposed for the fraud that he is more and more every week.

That's actually pretty close to what he said if not on the nose.

Okay, people. I hear you all. However, I'm not willing to give up on the Steelers, yet. Not even for this season.

I understand that there was much to be seen that was not good... that comes with a loss...

    But...

I saw Mendy push the pile, running north and south.
I saw Redman make two awesome splash plays in reception.
I saw Heath.. being Heath. Pulling in amazing catches when needed.
I saw Wallace catch a nice ball over his back shoulder, with his hands.
I saw Sanders laying out for the ball.
I saw Ben getting rid of the ball, checking down, and extending... all effectively.
I saw the defense make plays in the backfield, the box, and the secondary.
I saw the defense pretty much shut the Titans offense down for most of the game.
I saw the O-Line lay it all out so Batch could score a go-ahead TD.

Choose to see it how you see it. I will choose to have hope. The Steelers have been in seemingly worse situations and gone on to win the SB.

The necessary adjustments can be made. And will be made.

    I believe.

    Doubling down on:

"those guys get paid to play too"

    "next man up"

"our play was below the line"

"we'll evaluate where we are and go back to worK'

    "we're going to unleash h..."

All make it into the press conference this week.

This is what we got...against the titans.
And it was a losing effort.

    I don't see the hype.

When you lose to the crappiest teams in the league, that makes you one of the crappiest teams in the NFL.

I think I've calmed down a bit post game.

So I'll leave now with this post and I wish you guys the best of spirits this weekend and next week.

This will either cheer you up a bit or make you even more depressed.

I cheered me up until it was over and I got more depressed because this team resembles NOTHING of those teams. And I am not talking about the play on the field. I am talking about the attitude, the personalities, the fear other teams had playing us, the confidence, the ruggedness... this team and FO has none of it.

Was there anyone here in this thread that didn't think this game would end this way? We all knew the defense is worthless. It was up to the offense to outscore the other team. As I said before, Ben is too inconsistent, doesn't make the plays when they are really needed. On that last drive we had he couldn't get the ball in decent FG range. He choked as far as I'm concerned. I don't care if he passed for 500 yards. A great QB would of done what they want with that Tennessee defense. Did you see Tomlin go out and chest bump Taylor when there was an injury? He is one of the boys. I'd trade Ben and Tomlin for Eli and Tom Coughlin in a heart beat. There is no sense of urgency in this group. They are still living off their Superbowl high from a few years back. Big Ben passed the retard Bradshaw for most yards. Whoppie F'n do.

i knew the game was lost when Suisham missed that 52 yarder and the Titans got the ball near midfield with about a minute and 2 timeouts left.

that reminds me, i wanted to dig up stats on points scored/allowed per quarter for the Steelers.
