Who the hell gave Haley last years play book? 5 screens to Brown in the 1st half????

And yes, as soon as they play off the receivers on 3rd and 10...bam completion for a big gain into FG territory.

We are just not a good team - all 3 phases. Can't run the ball on O, can't make a stop on D and blocked punt on Specials. Only shot we have is no huddle all second half. Let Ben throw it 50 times because there is no running game on this team this year and the D isn't going to win this game.

 

One of these years we will have an Offensive Line. Then we can see Haley's offense. I think right now he is doing everything possible to keep Ben upright.....cept the other teams know they are going to throw the quick screens etc. Unfortunately they can send 3 Defensive lineman against our o-Line and still be very effective.

 

A little slack just enough to hang themselves

 

On the 1-10 frustration scale, this game is a 12. I said in another thread this was a trap game and it looks more and more that we are heading down that path. Ugh. I need a Zantac. The Ravens and Patriots would be leading this team by at least two touchdowns at half. I am a Tomlin fan, but it seems lately that his staff is failing miserably to appropriately motivate and prepare this team. We have the talent, even a few men down, to come back and win this game. Let's see what Todd Haley is made of. Cross your fingers.

On a Positive Note....no penalties on Willie C.

 

If we have that Pony backfield playbook with us we need to break it out....Redman is killing them in the passing game,so if we put him and Mendenhall out there the Titans would get out of the Nickle and get in their base....They are killing our OL from the nickle with stunts....

 

The Packers are not that good this year.

I love your optimism and hope you're right, but I'm not getting my hopes up based off of the abysmal performance we've seen so far. On top of that, the Steelers have an awful record with making halftime adjustments.

 

I have to say, I'm officially tired of Mike Tomlin. We sucked badly after a bye week looking very unprepared and not this. I understand injuries but we are getting beat in every aspect of this game by a really crappy team. No reason for that at all.

 

I would agree that this is a trap game except this team hasn't played well all year.

 

And then another defensive collapse and we are losing again. Can't believe it's come to this.

 

Two O-lineman being hurt & an inexcusable blocked punt helped swing this game in Tenns favor. Ben is going to have to shake off defenders now and find a way to win this game for us.
