Everyone could see it was a bad call live, but the timing on this is sick.

TJ timed it perfectly. The refs blew that one, and even admitted it. It's a shame when you get penalized for being too good

What pisses me off more is the replay ****nuts wouldnt show the sideline view. If I didnt love the Steelers, I would seriously stop watching the NFL. I hate this league and everything about them. They are scumbag pieces of ****.

If the refs make an obvious bad call, they won't even show the replay, at least not from a good angle. Seems to be a regular thing the last few years. They're just trying to cover up how bad these refs really are.

Of course. It's actually always been this way. They are covering for their employees.....which is what You would expect.

Yes, but that's no solution to the problem though

It's pretty obvious to anyone that has eyes to see that the league has some kind of bias against TJ. It's almost like they don't want a defensive player being too dominant

Actually the NFL is deathly afraid of the betting public and the influence refs might have on outcomes. The more that stays hidden the better, in their mind anyway.

where is NY being able to buzz in and make sure all is correct. yea right. BS. the refereeing has gotten steadily worse for years. start fining them for bad calls and it will change. :hehehe::cool:

    I don't believe it's the league. It's the media.
The media votes on these awards. Is it any surprise that no matter how the season went last year....the MVP, and the DPOY of the year were vote they way they were....by the same people that said at the beginning of the year they thought thats who was best.

    Absolutely incredible on TJ's part.
What I thought was particularly irritating was in another game they toss the flag on a lineman being downfield, then officials called down and said, "No, it wasn't"
This one was really obvious by the sideline shots and this shot.
By the end of the game, I was thinking this was the worst officiating I've seen.

I was kind of offended during the pregame stuff that they were tooting Myles Garrett's horn every chance they could.
Even said they didn't foresee anything stopping him from repeating.

I don't like to blame officiating, but this is why they have the Replay guys looking at plays - it's their job to fix these.

The bigger the deeper the money gets, it will only get worse. Was listening this morning and had never thought of this, but the some owners are invested in fantasy leagues (big money), and of course betting money is huge and will only grow. Last night McCaffery did not play and was never listed as even questionable, yet the back up was told Friday he was starting. I'm not saying the refs are told to manipulate games, but when crap like this happens this often and the leaving info off injury reports, then you wonder how deep does this go. Not a conspiracy guy, but as my dad always said, follow the money.

    Actually that is not true

Statistically the refs are 98.9% correct

    That is excessively fantastic

It’s just when they blow a big one it is blown way out of reality

If TJ had not made a big play there would have been no further discussion

Are you old enough to remember watching Joe Greene

If you think they don’t call holding on TJ………….

And back then they admitted to it because they said Greene would be in the backfield every play

The bottom line is that as Steeler fans we are witnessing one of the greatest defensive players of all time in his prime.

Wait....they never listed him on the injury report???
How did they get away with that. Didn't a few teams get fines for this last year???
