    I 100% agree with this.

Watt hasn't made an impact in terms of playoff success. The Steelers aren't close to being a serious SB threat. Trade him, get draft capital, get younger and go from there.

But your a Khan fan, Maybe there won't be a third contact for TJ, If so
It should also be incentive laden.

I have to disagree here. The Browns did not have to keep him at an over priced value. He personally came out, wrote a nice statement to the Browns organization and fans, and said he wants to get traded because he wants to win. He knows they are in a rebuild process. That is the player asking to be traded. He wasn't asking to get paid more either. If the Browns traded him without him ever saying this i can see maybe your point because the fans would have been like why did we just do that. However, when the owner doesn't want to meet with you about your trade demands and says they don't plan on trading you, and then Max Crosby gets a 35mil year contract, well now you have to keep your star player happy because you aren't trading him and he is getting paid less than another edge rusher that he is better than. So now you overpay him 5mil more than the next highest paid edge rusher's contract. Browns are just being the Browns by screwing the market up like they did with Watson's fully guaranteed QB contract. Same to be said for TJ, if he wrote statement about wanting to be traded, we would all be like...yeah i can understand that, good luck and lets get the best offer we can for him.

Unless that is, you are able go get all that plus the extra dollars.

Its not greed. Just a choice. A good one at that.

100% agree! I don't know if you are all Pittsburgh sports but Penguins should have got rid of Letang and Malkin long ago.

After the playoff loss to the Ravens Watt said he was more open to moving around to be more effective FWIW.

    This.

    T.J. isn't going anywhere.

Unless a team is willing to give Pittsburgh a deal comparable to Khalil Mack; two 1s, two 2s and a third?! Not happening.

Players like Watt don't sign for incentives. They can get guaranteed money.

I personally like TJ Watt and would like for him to end his career
with Steelers, there might have to be give and take on both sides. Are you old enough
to remember Franco Harris? How about James Harrison? Steelers let these two walk.

Why blow all this money on him? Little stats in the postseason and no wins. Trade him and let him get some playoff wins or a ring. Otherwise we will blow our load, gonna get all these stats then break down in the end and team fizzles out anyways.
