A kicker is not gonna win over an every down pass rusher. I'm sure Boz will be well compensated.

Congrats to TJ Watt. At the same time, other than Boswell and Cam Heyward, there are few players that are exceeding their expectations for the season. I would say McCormick and Frazier are, but I cannot think of anyone else. There needs to be improvement throughout the season for a team to be peaking heading into the playoffs. (You can read between the lines, because this topic has been discussed ad nauseum).

I think that TJ played well. But you can't argue with the impact Boswell has had. His golden boot has given us the victory a lot. Remember the 6 field goal game?

Boswell is no longer a member of the 'Killer Bs'. In my opinion, he has upgraded to Murder Hornet.....lol

He came to mind first. Watt has been great, and the team obviously doesn't win when he is not on the field. But he really needs to show up in the post season because his career playoffs are anything but special. And you can add Fitz to the playoff doldrums as well.

    Congrats to TJ

As an aside TJ has been omitted from the CBS All Pro Team and Barnwell has given a fairly elaborate explanation as to why

Analysts seem to be depending more and more on predictive and subjective stats rather than on-field production or actually watching the games for context. His explanation is just waffle IMO, and screams that he made his selections from an excel sheet

I still find it ridiculous that these stat nerds put more emphasis on defenders getting close to the QB over defenders that actually put the QB on the ground.

PFF and others put huge marketing money into making people believe that they are offering some revolutionary analysis of the game. People (including those paid to analyse the game) now seem to believe that these predictive criteria are more important than sacking the QB, forcing fumbles, batting the ball down and making big plays at critical times.

TJ hasn’t had his best year as teams seem to be getting very good at scheming him out of it by chipping him at the highest rate in the league and getting the ball out quick. I’d still have him over any pass rusher in the league at this stage though.

Boz has a chance to set all-time record for FGM in a season.

Add Cam Heyward to the list of players that need to show up in the playoffs.

Austin is not a #2 WR. He did what is expected as a #3 WR, but he didn't exceed that expectation.

It's baseball over again. A few years ago, I said to someone about a player (I'm paraphrasing a bit because I cannot remember the exact details) "He had 30+ homers and over 120 RBI's" - to which he replied "Yeah, but he shouldn't have done".

    :lolol:

That was my point Austin is doing his job as #3 WR.

    As MVP now that’s funny

But I will say The Little Dude is showing flashes of being useful

Now if he he can be consistent he can be an adequate #4 receiver maybe #3 if Omar doesn’t add anyone in the off season and Wilson.3 doesn’t pan out
