That simply isn't true. By the end, there was good reason to move on, but he made Roethlisberger better. He got Roethlisberger to get the ball out of his hand more quickly and to dump the ball off more often when he is in trouble.

This is hilarious. As a Steeler fan I wish Jackson would have been given a lifetime contract. As Browns HC Jackson was 3-36-1. Ouch!!

It also helps to NOT hire a baseball guy and a lawyer to rebuild an NFL franchise.

Man, I have a hard time seeing Haley getting another NFL OC job. The guy has his pluses, I do think he helped Ben. But he's been fired twice in half a season, has off season issues and can't get along with coworkers and management. I can't imagine he'll be a hot commmodity.

    Disappoint? Whom? Me?

Why would I be disappointed? The information already being distributed informs me of all I need to know.

    Nor did I.

I initially thought that Dorsey would ride out the remaining season with Haley; searching for another after the conclusion of the 2018 NFL Season.

Kind of reminds me of our keeping the DC and getting rid of the OC last year. Still waiting for a decent explanation on that chain of events.

Haley and Hue did not get along . They were not on the same page . With that said, the reports I read indicated that Baker and other offensive players liked Haley.

My guess is Haley went rogue and the owners didn't want a repeat of that with a new head coach. But it's gotta be hard to work under a complete moron and follow his lead even if you know it's not going to be successful.

Maybe Haley was born in the wrong era. If he was coaching 20 years ago I'm sure his disciplinarian style would have been more successful .Everyone today is too soft and entitled

Noooo... I like them right here in the AFC North, as the Browns.

The last time the Browns went away, they became the Ravens, and they’re a fricking thorn in our side.

So apparently what i read earlier was way off. I just got home and see Haley has been fired as well and Williams was named interim head coach. According to NFL network there were major issues between Jackson and Haley. To quote them “Haley went rogue”. After his crap at KC and now Cleveland I would be surprised if he ever gets another nfl hc job.

The mind boggles at what Haley “going rogue” might mean....

I wonder if Ben would agree with that (behind closed doors). Haley wasn't the only guy in football with a more conservative approach than Arians. It was Haley's Pittsburgh ties that the Rooney's love their personnel to have (which is fine) that brought him here, not his QB coaching ability. He was another glaring problem that was ignored until Ben finally made it clear he wasn't interested in playing if Haley remained in Pittsburgh. 13-3 record (that everyone likes to point out), one of the most productive offenses in the league and the OC isn't asked back the next season, Hmmm.

The Browns have now had 10 different head coaches since 1999. 19 years.

The Steelers have had 10 different head coaches since 1945. 73 years.

Steelers have also had 3 coaches in 49 years.

I don't think we are supposed to understand.

This team wasted a #1 on Johnny Manziel. His picture in a Browns uniform should be under Webster's definition of "incompetence".

Is this the same Al Saunders who did such a stellar job as the Chargers head coach?? That would figure.
