I've been thinking I must be missing something, or maybe I'm losing it. Thank you.

 

I was confused too. You usually have pretty concrete reasons when you disagree with me. I was beginning to wonder if I had gotten ahold of <insert name here>'s meds.

 

Well, now that both of you agree you were confused, I’m not arguing.

 

I would agree, except in certain cases where a fan may not expect much, and the team though losing seems to be 'almost' there. My example in the instance is the Chargers. New coach, rookie QB, and not really much expectation to be special. They are 1-4, so they are what their record says..last place. Yet their 4 losses are to in OT by a FG, one by 4 pts, another by a TD. Add to this their Rookie QB so far has been playing lights out. If I was a fan of that team I would actually be seeing the glass half full, yes hating to lose (but expecting it anyway), and yet seeing the team being competitive against some very good teams.

Now with the higher expectations held for the Steelers this year,if they started 1-4 I would be ticked and say just what you said, lol.

 

Now I get it, you're just f***king with me.

 

5-0. Savor it. If they don't find a way to slow down Henry we could be staring at a loss after Sunday. Jump on them early. The way Henry runs and his acceleration after the 1st level the D has to take a slogan from Ray Seal's, 60 Minute Men.

 

We play as aggressive as we did this past Sunday then I’m not worried about any team

 

If Steelers beat the Titans...I will start to be more optimistic. But I'm pessimistic about becoming optimistic.

 

For that reason alone, I'll be rooting for the Steelers.

 

An 8-8 div winner will be seeded higher then a 10-6 wild card team. The only thing that matters IS getting in the postseason play which depends on your record. Therefore your record means everything.

 

Yes, that's why I qualified my statement with 'in most cases'.
Bye weeks and home field advantage are pretty important, imo.

They think they can win But believe it will be a tough game.

Need to test Spillane.

Otherwise nothing exciting.
