Yeah! You can't! One, I'm not racist! Two- there is zero things in that are "racist"! The word is in there from a Tomlin quote where he accuses the interviewer of being so! Not me!

It basically means you seem to be tensed up very tight over a sport. It’s ok to not be ok. Relax and let the season play. It will all be ok whether the win or lose.

Appreciate it but not nearly as worked up about the sport/team as I am being called a "racist". That s#1t is unacceptable! I invite conversation and even people to disagree but if people have to stoop to the level of mincing my words to accuse me of something like racism, I got a problem with that.

I am also a long time fan who is frustrated (meaning, I care) with the lack of leadership with our team.

 

I don’t think he called you a racist, I think he said not to bring racist stuff in even if you are referencing something someone else said or did.

 

He said, "your racism". That to me, is inferring that I'm the racist.

I appreciate you trying to diffuse the situation. And if he comes back with a similar response, then I can let bygones be bygones.

 

Who do most HCs have to help them decide to challenge a call or not? It has to be much easier for me sitting at home watching replay after replay whether it was the correct call or not or close enough to challenge it. But a HC is typically not in that moment nor getting all the replay info that I am. Somebody besides the player involved has to be relied upon to tell the HC when to throw the challenge flag. Most coordinators and HCs have moved on from that play before it has been snapped and onto the next play, so watching but not really watching.

I think Reid had a stat where he calls the most challenges and he wins most of his challenges. This may be wrong but not really the point. Who is telling him when to challenge or not?
