Ben may have been a bit off, but so was everyone else. Was a very healthy team that didnt show up. where were our sacks ? The steel curtain has left the 2ndary wide open. Martavius is dropping more than he catches.
we almost and should have won but the zebras took away our lead with the horrible AB call. (they were the ones that cost us the game!)

I think Ben is a great quarterback, franchise level at least and maybe elite, but 18 touchdowns and 14 interceptions is woefully inadequate for a quarterback of his stature. Those stats have mediocrity written all over them and we expect more than mediocre from Ben. If his season ends today, I would characterize Ben's overall performance this year as a MAJOR disappointment!

also take into consideration the lost yards due to Bryants drops ( needs new gloves or somethin), how many more scores would those have been? Need to run Heath , Spaeth and James more in combos confuse the 2ndary .

To be fair on the week 17 injury report they had ben, bryant and harrison listed with an illness but with full practice participation, most likely a touch of the flu bug was going around, not using this as an excuse but it is tough playing sick.....

I think Ben might be getting a little too caught up in his team's aerial circus capabilities. He is forcing way too many passes right now and his picks are way up. Some haven't been his fault, but most are, and there are quite a few others that could have been picked off - Heath Miller completely saved his bacon on that 1st TD pass against Cleveland by ripping it away from the D Back.

He has to start playing smarter. I actually don't have a problem with him taking some deep shots on the 3rd and shorts as the Steelers have made a lot of big plays this year when doing that, what I have a problem is the throwing deep across the middle of zones into obvious double coverage - that is just a stupid mental error.

He has to play better - Cincinnati is a good defense with a good secondary and I am sure that their OC Hue Jackson is going to put AJ in a position to succeed at QB - plus we all know that any QB can move the ball against our defense.
