It's crazy how I think of all the greats we had years ago, troy, big snack, kiesel, deebo. Feels like forever ago when we had those legends in their prime. It really never hit me that Deebo is still here, I keep getting reminded that in my pic. Off topic but dude is nuts.

 

I used to live nearby where they filmed the original IBS in a little charming town Sierra Madre just east of Pasadena. Apparently the Chamber of Commerce has an annual Halloween bash where they all get toasted and make up giant paper mache' seed pods with local yokel's names and epithets on them and then go around and leave them on people's front porches in the wee hours.
Hilarious tradition.

 

I was listening to the 2005 Bears/Steelers game today on SNR that I actually attended (stood in the South End Zone-before they enclosed the bowl).
It was a odd to hear Keisel blowing people up on Kick coverage and pretty great to hear names I have not heard in a while.

I'm OK with the current situation. I've always liked VW98 and think he has earned the shot. If someone goes down with a season ender, then yes different story.

 

I hope the Steelers don't get busted for tampering, it was reported he visited the Steelers while Miami was off because of the hurricane. If Miami released him I would take him back for depth at ILB, for the vet minimum.

 

Sure as long as he doesn't want to kneel or sit bring him in!!!

 

I'm surprised this isn't some kind of conflict of interest to be at another teams practice?

 

Probably why Miami suspended him indefinitely, they might know his intention is go back to Pittsburgh.

 

Yes bring him back NOW! And watch him get beaten repeatedly in coverage...no thanks. Obviously he has some deep personal issues or sadly is suffering from head trauma. I appreciated what he brought to the Steelers and I was surprised that Miami gave him all that money guaranteed. Hope he gets his life together...

Whatever it was, Miami is willing to let it go because they're desperate for LB's.

 

Happy to see him back on the field. Would rather have seen him back here....and as depth? Only depth Timmons would have provided was pushing 98 back to #1 backup.
