Timeouts

    Out of boredom, I was sitting here thinking about timeouts. Some coaches are really good and knowing when to use them, and some aren't.
    That being said, how many times do they go unused in the first half, yet the team sure could use more in the second half. Would you be in favor of carrying over unused timeouts into the second half? I can't see any reason not to, other than that's not the way the rules have been. I would think it would make for a more exciting game, and give a team a better shot of driving for a late score with not much time left.
    What are your thoughts?

    I think it would end up being like the NBA where the last minute would last 1/2 hour!

    Nah. I like the second-half drama inherent in trying to conserve/tactically use a limited resource.
