it's time for the Turn Over ratio to go back in our favour. nice read on how it affects our team and the fact we still managed to win 12 games. we are the exception to the rule though. we need to turn this around and we will be back ontop. with the talent potential we have here the skys the limit.

The thread title had me believing that T.O. was going to be spending some time in the slammer for not paying child support.
Its highly doubtful though as he will buy a judge off before paying a baby mama. Sorry to hijack the thread.

Man, I hope so. It seems like it can only stand to improve, and the statistics back that up. I also feared this thread had something to do with bringing TO in for a visit or something similar. <whew>

T.O. is coming in for a visit? That is great news! I always thought that he was a stand up character and a team first kind of player. Those of you that are on him about his child support just have no idea what it is like to blow a fortune and have more kids than you know how to care for! This coupled with the signing of Wallace...I am really excited about our future!!!

just like we have lost half of the teams TD's from the field on offense, we have alot of loss on defense too. i hope somebody steps up. foote starting doesn't ring upgrade. 3 young guys and 3 old guys don't ring alot of comfort either.

harrison still hurting, hampton out, troy, clark and ike are not what they once were. where will all these turn overs come from? that's alot of pressure on a couple of first time starters and aging vets with nagging injuries. we have potential, but how much will see the field in a meaningful way? lets face it troy is spurty in pass coverage because he's all over the place. ike is not the answer for interceptions. clark has never been a big pass intercepter. foote is the worst pass defending LB in the league. timmons doesn't make a ton of them. woodley and harrison have had nagging injuries. is lewis going to make that much difference? where will these TO come from? defense is a big unknown this year.

Last year, we rarely had a healthy James Harrison and a health Lamar Woodley playing at the same time. As a result, Troy spent way too much time around the line. Get those two healthy and on the field at the same time allows Troy to play his normal position creating more turn overs.

Last season was an anomaly for us. I see the TO ratio coming around in our favor this season with the Steelers' D.

the way they are talking about the new young guys being much better in man coverage, the hitting may not matter as much as it did in the past at that position. our defense was made to use that hitting style from our corners to make it work, now we have more of a coverage type of corner. we shall soon see.
