When Worley was selected in the first round (7th overall) of the 1989 draft by the Steelers most thought he was a can't miss. He didn't do any better during his one year with the Bears either but it is good to see he has gotten it together.

Thanks for the link, Jack - really good read, and interesting to hear the story from Worley's side. Good to see he's overcome his demons.

Man I was a big Georgia fan back then and was so pumped when the Steelers drafted Tim. Then I was pisst at him for being such a failure. Glad to see he's turned his life around. Horrible about his brothers though, man they were way too young. Hope he gets his ticker checked regularly.

I use to get upset about this pick and the fact that he basically turned out to be a bust, but the guy had some serious issues he was struggling with. I'm just glad he got his life in order. Good to see he still roots for the black & gold.

I'm just wondering who the guy with long hair in the photo is that he has his arm around? :?

Glad he is doing better, but all I know is there seems to lots of guys who get on drugs, fight demons, then come back as motivational speakers and get paid big bucks. This seems to be a fairly well designed career path anymore. Therefore, I am going to start snorting large amounts of cocaine tomorrow with the plan of being on the motivational speaking tour in 3-5 years.

Lol, true enough. To be fair, the whole "motivational speaker" thing in general is an incredibly well-paid joke of a career.
