some ranked fairly high but also some guys with skills not ranked up with the top dogs. whats your thinking on some of these OTHER guys.

    1. martavis Bryant..... he's ranked fairly highi know, but a few weeks ago, not so much. the more I watch the more I think he could turn into a good receiver in the pros. Sammy took a lot of heat off of him, but the kid gets off the line well and has great speed for a tall guy. 4.42 6-4 16 reps. good quickness also built in. the other guy at Clemson. had a great yard per catch career there.

    2. cody latimer........ Indiana's wr. good size, good speed, good hands, good routes. not great qb'ing at iu. maybe a sleeper? IU probably doesn't get a lot of looks. the kid has some talent.

    3. d.j.coles............. ranked way low. not sure why either. some concerns about his knees but he really hasn't missed a lot of time over it. big target, good speed, good routes and gets open. with Thomas as his qb, it feast or famin. another under the radar guy though.

    4. jaron hamm........ another sleeper?

    5. l'damian Washington......... good speed. decent blocker. tall. a guy not getting much love either, but has had some good production.

    6. jeff Janis...... one of my favorites. small school. tall fast good hands. pretty much dominated at his level. keeps falling back in the rankings. we took a flyer on a kid back in 74 from Alabama a&m that turned out pretty good. LOL

just some players that might be flying under the radar somewhat and could be steals down the road. we have a good, smart old wiley wide receiver coach that can teach these guys. with what we have coming in camp with FA's and who we have already here, could any of these guys be our smart pick to eventually be our new guy. just some thinking outside the so called top dogs in this class, but way overlooked? they all have size and speed. any thoughts?

the only two that I can speak on are Bryant and Washington. Bryant apparently has all the talent physically but not upstairs if you know what I mean. he didn't grasp the playbook at Clemson and I was told when you put him in front of a blackboard he is lost looking at plays. scouts are not sure of his ability to break of routes and find the spot he is suppose to.

Washington I cant find anyone to say anything against him. the freshman Missouri had got all the pub this year is all I can figure. all he does is catch the ball and runs very well. I seen him play twice and I know he can block as well. would like to see him in mid to late rounds if we don't get one early

I've watched tape on them and they are all legit. just not sure why they are cruising under the radar on a lot of boards.

are we looking for a #1-2 type of guy or a guy with deep speed or just a tall #3 or 4 WR, (good blocking), probably down the list but important. it's hard to tell. I think it will determine at what spot we draft one.

martavis Bryant has deep speed and is tall. 2 out of 3. can he be a #2?

latimer? sorta tall, good speed, could probably become a decent #2.

Washington and Janis have possibly all 3 things going for them.

coles and hamm could be good 3-4 WR's.

I did hear coles was going to work out for NE with logan Thomas.

I saw the rasins and a couple others are looking at latimer.

one thing we know is we have options.

heck maybe they allow stickum again and DH-B becomes a star.:cool:
