Yes we did sign a dog killer. But by and large I still think this organization has maintained it's core values. The issue with the tickets is business and what was Rooney suppose to do? All the other owners/teams deal with ticketmaster in the same way. When it comes to issues involving tickets, you have to move in the same manner as the other teams in the league don't you? But I do understand what your saying overall. Society is changing in general; and not for the better. The moral fiber of this country in general is going down the toilet. Fighting over transgender bathrooms!!?? Really? There still is a feel of core values with the Steelers and I think the Rooney's are doing a good job in trying to maintain that; especially with an ever changing world around them.

Ill put it this way: If Greg Hardy were on this team when all those initial things came out, unlike the Panthers owner who him hawed and see sawed trying to find a way to keep him on the team; Rooney would have been done with him immediately once the facts were exposed. At least, that's what I believe. Maybe I'm wrong. But that's what I think.

    fair enough.
if the steeler way is having some POS on the team but not major POS on the team then i will agree with you.
actually, then the steeler way is the same as the rest of the league, except for a few teams.

Indeed. I could take that a step further. In all actuallity, there is no class to any NFL team. At this point, there are "calculated risks", but like Blast Furnace stated, Hardy's production and other issues are not enough to warrant a contract; nevermind a second chance.

Like I said what I think the Steeler way is and what you you think the Steeler way is are two different things. Not sure what so called POS we have but whatever........
