Those of us that were at the game.

Had a great time in Denver. Looked to be about 60% Broncos fans and 40% Steelers fans. Maybe more. We cheered our hearts out and let them know we were there. Talked to a Denver Police officer at the end of the game as we were the last ones out. He said, "Steelers fans are the classiest fans I've ever seen come through here". He went on to say that he has worked the games as a police officer since he started 15 years ago. So hold you heads high Steelers fans. Our team lost the game but we held ourselves to a higher standard of conduct.

On a side note he said Oakland fans were the worst. LMAO.

Nice post. The officer said what we've known all along - and it's one reason why players WANT to play for the Steelers. They know that not only is this team special, but its fans are second to none! Glad you had a good time.

 

i was told the same thing by various fans at the mnf game at candlestick park last month. tailgating in the parking lot, their fans said they'd never seen anything like it.

 

On the flip side of that, I have usually found Broncos fans to be pretty good, fun fans, a part of the reason I am not terribly upset by this loss. Broncos have always had great ownership and have presented themselves well. Some people don't like John Elway, but I have always been a fan, loved his heart and competitiveness.

 

I was there as well. Instead of being the last on out I left with the general poulation.... saw a bunch of little stuff, nothing major. Most of it typical of frustrated Broncos fans acting up for the first timein a while..... all in all had good time considering

 

I thought for sure you were going to say the cop said the Steelers need to get rid of Arians.
