I just saw this on The Heard, that our Kicker is making more money this year than any starter on the offensive Line!

That is just FREAKIN Stupid. Is this correct?

 

Joe Haeg just signed with Cleveland.

FYI: Haeg was higher rated on PFF than either Dan Moore or Jesse Davis having given up only 3 sacks last year.

Haeg cost us Bud's 3rd round draft pick by playing the last game of the season. If they were willing to give up a 3rd round pick last year, you would think they value Haeg abilities. Otherwise, you have Haeg sit out the last game and get your 3rd round pick for Bud.

 

Until DJ signed his new deal Derrick Watt was the highest O cap number for the Steelers. Still think he is 2nd highest O. Some of the O line signed on FA may have their money pushed into the future, bit Cap wise this year we have the lowest offensive number (again before DJ signed a new contract).

 

I can't remember the details, team wise did we have to win to get in the playoffs? Injuries, etc.? But yes it does seem very short sighted.

 

I’m gonna need to see a handful of games before I can form a legitimate opinion.
