This oft repeated question the last few years captures it all

"Why can't our receivers get open like the other team's?"

The other teams' receivers are so open because our defense is poorly coached, lacks discipline, and has no creativity

Our receivers aren't open because our offense is poorly coached, lacks talent, discipline, and creativity.

I place a lot of blame on the coaching staff, top to bottom. They don't seem to teach, or adjust, or develop good game plans. Haven't for years. Most players I think play hard, but they aren't put in a position to succeed.

 

Pickens is awful route runner. Keep Williams get him full off season etc. Make him feel wanted and that guy might have another few solid seasons left in the tank.
