Lets be honest with our-self here we could have not gotten by Brady or even Manning with the secondary we have. I hate this frigging lost as much as any other fan out there. I've been a steeler fan for 35 years and had to deal with other looses that hurt way more than this one. We will get back to the SB someday, it just won't be anytime soon. :(

Will always be a die hard Steeler fan for life. :) :steelflag:

Loss does suck but i honestly thought if we get passed the Ravens we had a decent shot ..
I thought the D was finally staring to click but then they threw a monkey wrench in the whole thing ..

I expected a playoff run before the season even began.

Doubted even myself a few times early in the season when this team resembled the keystone kops. But I knew they had it in them to be winners. Once we went on a tear in the last third of the season, I thought it all was starting to click.

We had a puncher's chance. Didn't matter who the opponent was.

And then everything that's wrong with this team all came to a head in a single game...

I definitely felt we had a shot. Defense wasn't great, but we have one of the most talented offenses in the NFL. Even without Bell I think we should've won this game easy.

It stings even more when you live 50 miles from Baltimore and most of your friends and family are Rat fans.

Why couldnt they have played anyone else but the Bravens!

Me too and SHAME ON US!

But I guess any team that gets beaten by the Bucs and Jets shouldn't be surprised when they get beaten by a quality team in the playoffs.

This is how I viewed it. Our D pretty much stinks, and has for a while. Not sure where folks are seeing that they were playing that well lately, but... with our O, Bell or not, we should have been better than what we showed. Bad time for everyone to have a bad game.

It's not about that, though. We beat quality teams throughout the season. We beat the Ravens resoundingly.

It's really what Ray D said - all the bad points of the team showing up on the same day. Just like they did versus the Bucs and Jets.

I wasn't expecting a playoff run not with this lame defense, I knew the secondary couldn't hold up.

Yep, we regressed back to the beginning of the season and all the issues we saw there reared their heads again in a single game.
