    - Despite previous assertions to the contrary, this season is not ruined after all.
    - Leveon Bell is still one of the best backs in the league and should not be benched.
    - Ben Roethlisberger is not washed up and retired already.

In other news Antonio Brown is still a diva, and the NFL still needs to employ full time referees.

I'm not sure I can agree about the Ben one. He didn't look good most of today, but thankfully he wasn't asked to do much.

By and large he took what the D was giving, moved the chains and kept drives alive. He did enough to get a win against a fierce rival in their own stadium. I'd say that's a good day at the office. Was he perfect? Far from it, but is he washed up as some would dispute? Not by a long shot.

When Brown was 50 yards wide open, fail to deliver him the ball. Missed Bryant on a fly pattern who had a few steps on the closest DB. Left at least 14 points on the field. Would've loved to crush the Raven on the scoreboard...

Maybe we are seeing Roethlisberger in his latter Elway years. Bell is the next T. Davis and AB>Rod Smith.

And we win back to back and Ben hangs it up, I like it. Or back to back to back?

I agree with most except Ben. Ben seems off. I think he's in retirement mode. I hope he changes, can't make it to the Superbowl without him. but he's definitely not playing up to par.I think that pats loss did him in unfortunately :\ he's missed so many opportunities this season so far.

Great win today, no doubt. Defense played pretty good. Flacco is not too good now for some reason. As far as the offense, Bell's return to normal was great, but watching Ben play gives me an uneasy feeling for some reason.
Something is just not right. If this team has any playoff aspirations, Ben is going to have to start playing better and be more consistent. It all starts and ends with him.

Is he washed up I am not sure but I know a few things, if he is washed up than he is still better than a lot of other qb's in the league. Another thing is yeah he did enough to win today vs the Ravens but is that good enough? Yes this was a nice win but we need to look at the big picture, the Cheats, KC and Raiders. Games like BB played yesterday won't be good enough. I am hoping to see BB snap out of it and start cranking it up......

You mean, we are now passing judgement of the season.... after beating a team that lost 44-7 to the jags last week? Unfortunately I didn’t watch the game...... but a 10 point game late in the 4th.... but I will give credit.... that we did put the game away with another TD.

Ben did what the situation called for; let Bell run against their depleted defensive line, spread the ball around to various receivers and build up a first half lead against a team that isn't built to come from behind. It may not have been pretty, but it was his smartest game of the year to date. He didn't have to be the hero today. Will he have to be the hero at some point this season? Possibly. But if continues to play smart and do what the situation calls for they will win far more games than they lose.

I agree with everything you said except for the Defense played pretty good. I personally feel the Defense played very well and should get better going forward.

The Ben situation is evident and I have been saying for a few years he looks just Ho Hum. He needs to improve. Not washed up but not the same QB.

Your right he did do what the situation called for however I am talking about the bigger picture. I said in my post he did enough to win yesterday but like I said was that enough to beat KC-NE-Raiders.....NO! Look at how BB has played so far after 3 games, he is way off on the long ball. He is way off on the short passes, go back and watch the pass over the middle. Can't remember to who but if BB hits him in stride like he use to than it was a td. But instead the wr had to reach back and break stride and get hit from behind. These are the small things that most don't look at and have me worried about BB.

This offense has the NFL's best wr and rb, they have one of the best deep threats and a very good/experienced oline. 30 points a game should not be something we don't get every game....especially since the Jags got 44 last we vs these guys. We will go as far as BB takes us and I hope he turns it on, still plenty of season left for him to get into prime shape. jmo
