This is what happens when a HOF QB isn't around to compensate for Cheerleader Tomlin's incompetence.

All good points and as of right now I am not advocating that anything has changed with MT's legacy. What I question is how much longer can he go on before it does without any changes in team success? Is there a shelf life on an NFL coach in this type of situation?

I was always under the impression that coaches absolutely need to get their players focused. These are mostly young players in their 20's and coaches need to ensure that they do in fact focus all that talent where and when it counts. I have even heard that coaches enforce curfews for some reason. JMO>

You didn't enjoy Tomlin 'embracing the elephant in the room'? Even Dungy was looking around for the room for the elephant.

Remember how Tomlin was openly talking about a Steelers vs. Patriots AFCCG matchup before we played the Jags in 2017? Yeah, that could have certainly led to some overconfidence and then some “oh sh!t” moments when the Jags actually showed up.

I just got sucked into a rabbit hole comment section on a Bleacher Report article about Cole Beasley retiring. You guys wouldn't believe how normal it is around here.

We are also a couple boneheaded plays from being 3-1 or 4-0. Works both ways genius

I would put the majority of the blame on Ben, in both of those losses he had 5 turnovers total in the first half, when was the last time the Steelers got off to a fast start in the playoffs?

To some fans around here only the Steelers lose to inferior teams, I remember last season Jacksonville was terrible, but they kicked the Bills ass.

Ben contributed, but the entire team - both sides of the ball - played like hot garbage during both of those games until they got out of hand.

Folks Ben R hadn't been relative for some time. Please remind me when he put the team
on his back and carried us to victories. He didn't that's why..

You say that, but We went 11-0 till He got injured in 2020, and He took this team to the playoffs last year 2021 with less at the offense line, and less weapons....So....

Fans like to say the team underachieved in the playoffs because they had a franchise QB in Ben, well shouldn't a franchise QB play like one in the playoffs? Yeah, the defense wasn't good in either of those game, but the offense didn't do them any favors. The offense always started slow, too many punts, and turnovers.
