I just saw this for the first time, because of the article that says Pats have won 3 games due to td reversals, I cant believe this call

the thing is that is just as bad for us, Jets win that game were still the # 1 seed and this past game would be simple motivation for the home playoff game

This Al Riveron guy needs to go. There’s no reason any one official should be given the keys to drive the car of every single game.

    Corrupt, corrupt, corrupt.

I imagine we'll see another rule change in the off-season, and I imagine, just like with the Dez Bryant case, it will actually make no substantial change to avoid this kind of thing happening again.

Yup. I watched that game live and that one still ticks me off. The Pats should have lost that game.
And, while we're on the subject, where's the flag for touching the official? I see at least two Pats players lay a hand on the official there.

Surprised the NFL doesn't take that America' team slogan away from the Cowpokes and award it to the Cheats. Their fans are singing repeat and Brady for MVP like theres no one else deserving. That fan base is dessimal!!!

The conspiracy theories really need to stop. The NFL has too much to lose if it came out, and it would come out. It just isn't happening.

That said, if y'all are this mad, don't go back and watch the game again. I caught a few minutes on NFL Network last night and saw a blatant hold by the Patriots on Heyward which allowed Brady to get off the pass to Gronkowski right before the winning touchdown. Of course, the defense couldn't stop anything at that point, anyway, but it's still damn annoying.

It already came out twice in the last several years. They have been caught cheating twice and with no penalty. The guy at the Saints got hammered with a 1 year suspension. It’s a plain and obvious bias and people are going to vent about it this week, it’s part of getting past it. We’ll win soon and it’ll go away.

Being stripped of first round draft picks is hardly no penalty. They also suspended Brady for four games. Yet once again that doesnt fall in the category of no penalty. That guy from the saints you were trying to reference was running a " pay for pain" scheme. We will give you money if you injure someone. It's not cheating, but certainly abhorrent behavior and deserved the year he got.

Of the 3, I think this Jets one could be the closest to correct. The ball did get bobbled and lost control, but it's kinda hard to tell if he recovered in bounds or out of bounds. But there again, the video evidence should be clear and conclusive to overturn the call on the field.... and I'm not sure it is conclusive.

The most annoying thing about the Patriots is that they're good enough to win without cheating. They just do it anyway! Problems with communications equipment in Foxboro? Deflated balls and then crush the Colts? The Patriots would have won that game even if they had been playing with bricks.

It’s almost like they decided the indisputable evidence rule doesn’t matter anymore.

I don’t think the punishment they received came close to fitting the violation. The video crap went on for years and most likely helped them to SB win(s).I think if you were to ask a team owner or coach if they would trade a first rounder for a championship they would not hesitate. As for Sean Payton, they never said he ran the pay for pain deal, it was defensive coordinator. I agree he was responsible, I think video taping another team prepping for a game is just as bad.

Pats LG #62 spent the entire game trying to pull Heyward's jersey off.

I won't call it a "fix," but it's pretty incredible how many calls the Patriots get. It's either blind luck, the refs, or both. It's definitely not fair and needs to end, now.
