We're 1-3, the rest of the division is 3-1, then you go to work on Monday in a bad mood :@.

What's even more depressing is, this doesn't look to be getting better anytime soon.

More depressing is they went all in thinking 2021 was going to be like the 11-0 start, and not like the 1-4 finish.

They're going to bleed out all year. Once the inevitable D injuries start to mount, it will snowball.

Well with the steelers sucking like they do what else would you expect? Brady is still playing at an exceptional level and won a superbowl last year. Ben? Not so much. So I know it hurts to see other teams getting good coverage but the way to avoid that is to be at least competitive. We are not

The depression started at game 12 last year climaxing on the playoff game and continues to this year. Maybe this is what comes with the end of a franchise quarterback for the last 17 years and our success. My concern going forward is it will probably last 2 to 4 years with the amount of draft picks we have traded away in the next few years, needing a franchise QB, upgrades on the oline, some defensive backfield help, and a new unproven OC. I Hope I am wrong and everything clicks and goes are way.

What even more depressing is all this effort to build a defense and they still suck. Teams don’t score more because they don’t need to. Overrated defense, coach, no offense no qb.

    harris is awesome though lol

I thought they would be better, they had a good draft, they signed Ingram traded for Schobert.

The injuries on defense have played a big part in the collapse. If they are healthy on defense, this team is at least 2-2 right now. Watt was maybe 80 percent today. Highsmith has been invisible, probably because he hasn't been right. More importantly, the line has been decimated by the losses of Tuitt and Alualu. We saw what this team could have been against Buffalo, but not since.

The offense is bad, even worse than many people thought it would be, but something resembling the 2019 team that was playing meaningful games late in the season would have been possible with the defense intact. Unfortunately, that didn't happen and the defensive front might be a mess all season with Alualu gone and Tuitt's status in limbo.

I liked those moves too but you can't expect a bunch of rookies to contribute that much. Beyond that, I guess there are still folks who don't want to believe Tomlin and Ben are really that bad... and I understand that. Still, many of us have been saying so for a while now.

I know he’s been banged up, but Highsmith has been invisible all season. Not even 1 sack.

That defensive scheme is **** even with good players. Butler needs to get sent packing and a new system installed but pigs will have to fly first.

You ever wonder if the other Rooney's get on Art's ass about the direction of this team or are they all just of the same misguided mentality?

We know the minority owners spoke up a couple years ago and petitioned to move on from Tomlin but if course Art told them to piss off.

I ask because obviously the younger are more likely to rebel and adapt to modern times.

Does the Offensive line even know how to block?
What did Mr 88 million do today?
Is Highsmith wearing an invisibility cloak?
When was it ordered that receivers can no longer dive for a ball?
In contrast, when will it be ordered that receivers must where stick um? Perhaps apply it to a sign on the wall that they tap before entering stadium?
Is the check down pass to Najee the only play in our book for 4rth downs?
More concerning, is our running back the best receiver on the roster?
Are the RB and O line coaches on the same page and in the same meetings?
Did we “ run out “ of plays again and will Tomlin order more be found?

Wat too many new pieces to be in sync.

Hard truth, anyone defending Mike Thomlin as a top tier coach is happy with mediocrity. All the talk of his winning percentage, and never having had a losing season supports that. Dynasties are not built on regular season wins, it’s championships. This man has had as much talent as anyone in the NFL during his tenure. He has one title during that time with players he inherited. The man cannot coach, his postseason record proves that.

Maybe they need to use these plays. If the defense blitzed and the offense ran a draw, it was always a touchdown.

It is only temporary, we will get back to playing good football. I still have faith we will field
a competitive team. We are not as far as some people think.
