I hate to say this, but it is true. It is Tuesday evening and the Ravens are still getting positive tests. If this game is played it is highly likely the Steelers will be going through a similar outbreak the next two weeks.

Chances are the Steelers will beat a depleted Ravens team tomorrow. This will mean absolutely nothing, if a depleted Steelers team loses the next two games because half our roster is on the Covid list.

The Ravens team threatened to strike if they had to play Tuesday. The Steelers should consider threatening their own strike, if they are forced to play this disease ridden bunch of rodent birds.

A victory tomorrow will not mean much if it ends up ruining our season.

Seems the NFL is not going to add another week to their whole schedule for this one game. I hated the idea of forfeit, but maybe they should after all this, with the situation being the way it is now.

I have never even heard as a fact that a team has a right to forfeit a game, just heard it said so. What happens with the TV money? Is it a fact or not?

Steelers need to gather as much information as possible before noon tomorrow and then decide whether the Rats should be allowed to enter the stadium. If they don't feel comfortable about it then they should seek immediate compensation for having to play if they are forced to. If they are still uncomfortable but must play due to the NFL decision to play the game, they should then socially distance the entire game and embarrass the NFL on National TV. Totally screw over the league for one game and make a point. Have the score end up 476-0 with the Rats winning and make it the talk of the universe.

    BTW-I'm only half kidding.

Just cancel the damn thing at this point. Chances are the Ravens may not even be ready to play their next game. There will be teams with an uneven amount of games played. If this is the case so be it. The NFL can easily use winning percentage to determine playoff seating. There will be some lost revenue for sure. Work out a deal between the Players Association and the TV Networks to split up the loss.

The NFL isn't doing itself any favors here. They are just kicking the can down the road. At some point they are going to hit a road block they can not get past.

Maybe this is the answer. Have government officials step in and say no way. Keep your Covid in Baltimore.

Steelers got an extra bye. Be thankful. Sit back and relax and stop (bleep) whining. Jesus, how much whining can one fan base do. Grow a pair and shut up and enjoy the game tomorrow. Or don't.

They didn’t get an extra bye, they’ve been practicing, their schedule and routine has been completely upended and now have to play several games on short rest.

Some people are ok being taken advantage of, most aren’t and will call it out.

Has any athlete on the pro or collegiate level of any sport died of Covid? And how many have been hospitalized?

    Yeah. I'll be that guy.

It's obvious the Ravens are jockeying to have the game moved to week 18, and that has always been the goal.

Fine. Let them have it. BUT, with the caveat that if moving the game triggers an 8 team playoff, and they're the #8 seed, they're disqualified from competing.

No one is being taken advantage of. Everyone's lives have been affected. Most of us have had jobs affected. NFL players aren't immune to that. The league has been impacted, that's just the nature of the world we live in right now.

Yes, the Steelers routine has been impacted. To that I say they are professionals and I expect them to come out and play their best anyway, which I know they will.

They will play on short rest. So what? They're professionals in better shape than most people on earth. They'll be just fine. It's a pandemic, these things are going to happen.

We're just lucky to get to see a full season. No other sports league was fortunate enough to even come close to a full season

Could care less what kind of shape they are in, they have been ****ed over twice this season now while two teams that screwed up get catered to.

What has changed in Raven land that they couldn't play Tuesday but won't throw a fit about playing today?

They get their 2 running backs back today.
Also pushes next game back so they get their starting QB back too.
If they played on Monday or Tuesday vs Steelers and then Cowboys on Sunday, Lamar would've missed 2 games.

I know 60-70 year old guys who have gotten it and they tell me they have had worse flu's. These athlete's are way stronger and I would think it's pretty minor for them.

Although I think the talking heads of the media did dig up a female lacrosse player that died from it. Can't remember where. I'm sure there must be a few if they look hard enough.

Total BS. Play the damn game. Wang Harbaugh has been undermining the play of this game since day 1.
