Based on the players available to the Steelers in this mock, I would re-draft it this way:

    1. Devin Bush*

    2. Jace Sternberger, TE, Texas A&M

    3a. Joejuan Williams, CB, Vanderbilt

    3b. Amani Hooker, S, Iowa

    4. Anthony Nelson, DE, Iowa*

    5. Ben Burr-Kirven, LB, Washington

    6a. Hunter Renfrow, WR, Clemson

    6b. Diontae Johnson, WR, Toldeo*

    6c. Cameron Smith, LB, USC

    7. Jordan Brown, CB, South Dakota State*

    * Same player selected in CBS Sports mock

Half of those players Pittsburgh did not even meet at the Scouting Combine, Pro Day or had a Pre Draft Visit. Cannot say I blame them though for filling in the proverbial blanks.

It still stinks we did not invite Maxx Crosby in for a Pre Draft Visit even though Dan Colbert I believe was at the Eastern Michigan Pro Day. Hopefully he is there in the 5th or 6th.

Sternberger isn't a second round pick, Renfrow is a slower version of Switzer .

Has anyone gotten the warm n fuzzies from Anthony Nelson DE? I really didn't, especially in the 4th. I think the prospects at DE who we normally pick are very thin this year. Look at Charles Omenihu for example. 6'5" 280. Usually they go for someone over 300. Really that is what surprises me about the Omenihu interest shown.
