i expected more from the peak Ben killer B era. (Im sure you did too). So when i hear people say what a great coach Tomlin is i think for what? Non losing seasons with a HOF qb and a stacked offense? A super bowl we won 17 years ago?

And there lies the problem, and you can't see it. No matter what they actually are doing , or not doing in reality, You have already made up your mind to only believe the negative stuff. Nothing in life is that simple.
As far as ex players go there are many different levels of understanding in them. Hell I watched P. Manning breaking down a route tree to his brother E. Manning last night, and his brother who played in the NFL, and won two SBs didn't know it all like P. Manning did. Hell people believe PFF all the time, and many of those guys never even played JHS Football, let alone college, or pro, but some people listen to them all the time like it was the Bible of Football. .

I did think the Ravens were going to win it all last year because of the way they blew us out the last 2 times we played them but they lost to the Bills in the playoffs. I think the Chiefs have slipped a little bit this year that is why I have the Bills the favorite but you can never count out Patrick Mahomes.

Appears from you since we aren't doing anything right , You believe we average 10.5 wins a year by magic, and Ive seen others say turnovers, but if it's turnovers every year, then unless they are really good at teaching that, which people say they can't, then that also must be more magic.....we just sprinkle magic. LoL.
What I'm trying to get through to the sensible people that use their brain a bit is.... if we couldn't do all of this stuff people say we can't do. We would never win 4 games a year, let alone 10.5 games a year.

You are correct that the odds say someone else will make the SB this year, but as of right now, I'm not sure who that will be. I've watched the Ravens have some of the best teams in the last 4 years I've ever seen, and yet watch Lamar Jackson just choke in the spotlight. Until he can overcome that, it won't matter what talent they have on that team, or who's coaching it, and the Bills Defense seems to fall apart at the biggest times, like everyone says about here.

The Ravens just don't have the clutch gene since Ray Lewis and Ed Reed left. Harbaugh has lost a staggering 17 games when they have had a second half double digit lead. When asked about it today he said it was because they have a lot of double digit leads so they're bound to lose some of them, lol

Only 3 playoff wins in that era i cited is pretty negative. Considering the talent we had. HC is a results oriented job. If you dont get the desired results in that long of a span you should not continue in your job. It is that simple.

remember what Noll said about the best way to quiet the critics? Lets see what Tomlin can do with a rejuvenated AR.

In single elimination games mistakes are magnified ten-fold. It's been the Ravens undoing. Last year it was on Andrews. Year before on LJ.

Meanwhile, heard that Allen's post season passer rating is actually higher than his regular season rating. That's clutch. That's rising to the occasion.

The Steelers just haven't even been competitive unfortunately. It's just the state of this current team. People claim it's the inexperience of a young team. But I don't buy it. GB is the youngest team in the league and they don't look anything like what we are seeing from this team.

We have not won a playoff game in EIGHT YEARS. Mr. Tomlin's clock management, use of the red flag and important in game decisions like when to kick an easy field goal and when to go for .... let me use a PG13 word stink.

In addition he tends to gas light the DIVA players and must lead the league in all active head coaches in the department.

These are the major drawbacks on him. Any other coach would have been let go during his 8 years span.

This shows just how impressive Bill Cowher's 110-1-1 record was when the Steelers were leading by at least 11 points!
