The rebel faction of this forum is strong.... the Anti-Glenns.

But I did predict Steelers would go 10-7 and make the playoffs as a wildcard. I thought Trubisky would've played better than he did, at the time of the prediction.

 

The Sporting News message boards were epic in the late 90's and early 00's. If people think this place is a dumpster fire after a Steelers loss... it didn't hold a candle to Sporting News on the negativity and Cowher/Rooney/Steelers bashing from Steelers fans.

I remember using the dial-up modem to log in to Sporting News. Great times.... free Napster was still going and there was no such thing as social media.

I came over to this board 4 years ago after 7 years on the Steelers Addicts site. It went belly up around 2018 and then I came over here.

 

Glenn is good people. A few here like to hang up on him, but it just shows their own insecurities

This was the 1st board since the original that I cared to join. Even then I read this, and a few for years before I joined.

 

Same era, late 90's early 2000's. The negativity on the rival boards turned into racist comments back and forth and they lost me.
