Things I learned from this board

I'll take your word for it. I've never lived anywhere where it snows.

 

Go figure. I finally start buying ice fishing gear and low and behold, it's been unseasonably warm here in Iowa. Kinda like the year I bought a new snow blower and we barely got any snow that year.

 

I'll give you some info that seems important regarding trolls. I've never started a thread on this website.

 

Do you target a certain species of fish thru the ice? Just curious.

 

I've only been out a couple of times but we were going after crappie and bluegill. I know some guys I'm trying to get me on some walleye and perch but the weather isn't cooperating.

Lambert, I haven't read any words he's typed but am always drawn to his posts.

Mashburn, has a Jeep picture, I like Jeeps, I have a Jeep, Jeeps are cool and therefore all is good.

Steel Elvis, that one took me a few days to figure. My wife asked me why I was wandering around mumbling Steel Elvis.. I said "I think it's a great name for a rock band."

Formerscribe was easy to figure but whomever did the "Scribble" comment ruined it for me.

I'm sorta like JEH1856, I'm an old guy and I've told the wife I want to sell every and buy a bait shack on the lake and sell beer and fishing worms, which means it would just be a bunch of old guys sitting in rockers on the porch complaining about the world and how to fix it.

Some have to age on you like, SteelerGlenn. It's like getting used to hair growing out your nose and ears and stuff.

There's too many more but my quirky meter is pegging empty.
Like Metalman, I am new as well..
Things I've learned here:
