It's easy at this point to say this years team will be average, say 8-8, or 9-7. Seems like most Pittsburgh beat writers have as many questions as most of us, and that centers around the D. After that awful preseason why wouldn't we. Add in the suspensions, the injuries, and it sure looks that way. However, the Steelers have been more active trying to shore up the secondary adding Boykin ( hasn't played great as of yet) and they traded for a kicker instead of a FA one, and a good kicker this year will mean the difference in at least two games. Looking at this team the first 4 games may not be the picture we want to see, but I seem to get the feeling there are things we don't know. This offense is going to be really good, and we haven't seen anything but vanilla schemes to this point. I'm going to go with a prediction I saw earlier today, in that the Steelers may struggle early, but by Week 10 look out! My eyes tell me 8-8, but for some reason this team is much better than advertised, and tough schedule or not, I'm going with 10-6, and a very deep run into the post season. #7 may not be as far away as some might think.....

I really doubt they make any noise anyway because they've had some key injuries in the preseason and also they lost a key contributor on offense and replaced him with a guy with a glass jaw. Although I think Murray is more of a product of that beastly offensive line than he is a true stud rb like Bell.

yup Bell is the best all around back, there is no comparison. Biased or not it's the truth. With that being said all I keep thinking about is beating the pats. Steelers need to shock the analysts and all the haters :D
