All the talking should be done on the football field of play. Period.

I have no problem with Ebron, seems to really love being here and has come up with some big plays.

Ebron likes to talk, but he is a LONG way from Mitchell.

@steelersrock151@steelersrock151 said he was asked a question about if he made it to the Super Bowl, and he answered it. I do not follow Twitter at all. If this was a case of Ebron answering a question that was asked, I dont think it's that big of a deal.

You read through this thread and the guy is taking a lot of heat. Ebron has been a great addition to the Steelers. I just dont get the hate.

He was upset and reasonably so. ...... No way we should be playing 3 games in 12 days... Seems like the deck is being stacked against us....
Ebron's response was simply in defiance to the league office.

If you ask me, I think mercury morris is somehow involved

You should sticky this to the top of the page. Context is everything.

This was my biggest concern signing him as well. How much he would be on Social Media to boast about the teams accomplishments. Hopefully I am wrong but given how the current generation is about being slighted, no matter the severity, I imagine that Jarvis Landry and others Ebron has trash talked will be at their absolute best come those days.

Other than a handful of catches he should have made, I like Ebron since he's been here. I have a problem in general with the guys not understanding how to use a filter on social media. If I were asked a question about the Super Bowl, my answer would have been I'm focusing on the WFT. If someone brought up the Steelers covid altered schedule, I'd say all we can do is play the schedule in front of us, work hard and take care of our business. Bitching about the schedule isn't going to change a damn thing.

I guess I dont get it. EVERY team that plays 2 Sundays in a row followed by a Thursday game, plays 3 games in a 12 day span.

So, it wasn't guys looking ahead. It was one guy. Yes, Ebron runs his mouth a bit. I guess it is a symptom of his real issue, which is the inability to focus consistently. I think that leads to some of the drops.

I certainly hope all the Steelers players and coaches have the confidence that they will be in the Superbowl. Maybe if Steelers players came out and said, "I don't believe we will be in the Superbowl" fans would feel better? As usual, fans make a big deal about nothing but talk. Talk or no talk the Steelers need to prove themselves every week.

Do you have a link for his comments so we can see the context before we freak out?

Before the playoff game vs the Jaguars in 2017, that idiot LeVeon posts on twitter that's he's ready for the rematch vs New England .

Agreed. Reminds of the Jacksonville playoff game a few years back. They were already looking ahead to the Patriots.

This is a little game sports media plays. They ask a loaded question, then propagate the answer as if it was some out-of-the-blue comment a player made. That quote is going to make the rounds without context.

It was multiple guys. Tuitt Tweeted how the guys were gonna pad their stats and he'd try to catch up the following week. Now in his defense, they did play great with the exception of really 2 plays.

JuJu talking about playing their JV squad. (they're gonna see these guys again, NFL is going to make sure they get into the Playoffs)

Did not see that Ebron was asked about it, but the appropriate response is we'll talk about that if/when we get there. Right now our focus is this weeks game on Monday.

That would be like extra cherries on top for this wonderful season. Knock them around for a 3rd time in one season.

I don’t care if he says these things as long as it is reflected in his play on the field. One thing to talk sh*t another to back it up. If he can do that no issue from me. Michael Jordan was the biggest sh*t talker there was, no one said anything cause he backed it up on the court.

I would love to seee this team knock them around and dominate them.

What we got were sloppy games they barely walked away with a win in.

I'd kill to see a game where they were sitting on the sideline laughing while they were able to get back-ups in for some PT!

The thread should not have started. The OP was a false statement and a bunch of idiots jumped all over it. His actual statement, in the context it was asked, was a very good response.

    Haters have to hate.

I saw an interview with Ebron recently, Yeah he is pretty cocky.

Maybe Cam needs to sit him down.

The sweep was sweet. Steelers with the comeback & then pretty much in control for 60min. the second go around. Didn't respect them that 2nd time & didn't need to .
