We're all looking for reasons anytime the Steelers have performance issues, so I thought it might be fun to make a game out of it. I'll start.
    There's a reason...

The universally accepted retirement age is 65. DL, it's been a good run but time to give Butler a shot.

Sean Kugler was let go as the OL coach of the Bills. Our OL seems to be regressing and our two highly touted OL draftees have been somewhat disappointing. I know DD is injured but he was struggling before the injury.

Isaac Redman went to tiny Bowie State. You're a serviceable backup but those of us that thought you could be starter material were dreaming.

    Any to add?

Troy P sees more time on the sideline than the coaches do.

We need to invest in our defensive backfield.

va.steel needs to make sure he doesn't break ritual before anymore games!

-Harrison can't get that knee back into game shape.

-Defense has been missing Troy, Harrison, and is now feeling the impact of missing Aaron Smith.

    -Mundy

We are getting NOTHING from our most recent draft:

    1. DeCastro - Out for a while yet.
    2. Adams - on the bench
    3. Spence - out for year
    4. Ta'amu - on the bench
    5. Rainey - role player
    7. Clemons - practice squad
    7. Paulson - will be practice squad in 2 weeks, role player
    7. Frederick - Cut
    7. Beachum - only on roster due to being younger than Essex

I wholeheartedly agree with your first two statements! This defense needs a "breath of life"...and it won't get better with Harrison and Troy back on the field, we have to understand that they won't be there forever to save us.
The OL is awful...love those guys personally "team tiny shirts" is hilarious but to ask them to run block is like asking Big Snack to push away from the dinner table.
I think if you are talented enough to make an NFL roster, you can be a great RB if you have ALL the tools...heck, our backs can't get past the OL because they are tripping over them as they cross the line of scrimmage.

We don't have Cheerleaders! No Block Numbers and Steeley McBeam represents our team.

You may be onto something there.

I think there's a warrant out for him now for impersonating an NFL running back.

star players make coaches look better then they are.

ray horton takes the same defense and makes it work in arizona.

kuglar has been given the same bunch of misfits to work with again.

our front office and coaching staff didn't fix what was broken and still hasen't. ILB,S,OL,OLB,ST's.

:roflmao: Well, in all fairness to Redman, I think he is much better then he is showing, I believe his hip/groin are bothering him more then they are saying. I called that in preseason that this would linger all year, those are troublesome injuries that need rest to heal properly.
