Just as the title states. No one team in the AFC is head and shoulders better than anyone else. Patriots, Steelers, & Chiefs have bad defenses. Baltimore has a great D but suspect O for example. So while we have our issues, this conference is definitely up for grabs.

The Cheats disagree. AFC champs go through Foxborough imo.

a few other teams may disagree too. chargers for one. maybe not an unbeatable team in the conference but some really good ones capable of beating any other on any given day.

Ravens are the class of the AFCN. Pats will win the AFC though. Chiefs choke in the playoffs.

Until another AFC team proves that NE is beatable in January, then it's hard for me not to consider them a power house.

Didn't the Bengals and Browns both beat the Ravens.

I guess the OP was talking about massively dominant, though. Everyone in the AFC has Achilles heels of some kind this year.

Indeed I was referring to dominant. For example, if the Rams were in the AFC, they would be the clear cut best team in the conference. There wouldn't be a debate.

Yeah, and what about that team near Boston that ends up in the AFC championship, EVERY YEAR. That same team just defeated an undefeated team.

Until the Pats are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs (when was the last time this happened, btw?) I will assume the AFC road to the SB runs through New England.

They've proven it to be the rule over and over and over again.

I hate it, but it's the truth.

The Patriots win last night over the Chiefs was huge because it kept their chances for the 1 seed alive and they now own the head to head tiebreaker over the Chiefs. Had they lost they would have been 3-3 to the Chiefs 6-0 and would have had no chance of getting the 1 seed. As we all know if you get the Pats and Brady out of Foxboro in the playoffs they can be beat and by winning that game last night it still very much leaves the door open for the Pats to still be the number 1 seed. As for the 2 seed that is wide open right now and the Steelers are right there and have as good a chance as anybody to still get it if they continue to win games and get back into 1st place which I believe they will eventually do.

Patriots will be the #1 seed. I don't see them losing more than 2 more games, max. Dolphins may beat them, because for some reason... the Patriots fold like a cheap tent in Miami. Probably be another fluke loss somewhere along the way. 12-4... #1. Chiefs will end up 12-4, too... but lose top seed due to tie breaker.

KC still has road games at the Rams at Seattle at Oakland and at Cleveland and they play Cincy,Baltimore, Chargers, Cardinals, Raiders, and Broncos at home. So it’s a tough schedule but they could definitely still go 13-3 and finish a game ahead of the Pats at 12-4.

Well, I hope the Chiefs do end up 13-3... because they are the only team that can beat the Patriots in the AFC. I can see them taking out the Pats at Arrowhead.

That they did. But with a defense only allowing 12.8 points a game, that's in today's NFL where you feel like your defense did a good job if you hold some one to 24 points or less.

Meh, the Ravens are overrated, remember Flacco is their Qb.
