The pass happy, pretty boy, play offense the wrong way New England Patriots have 165.4 rushing yds/game.

    The thanks-God-we-got-rid-of-BA-to-retun-to-a-ground-game-Offense Steelers have 82.8 rushing yd/game.

    Almost exactly half as much.

    Truth is stranger than fiction!

Pittsburgh also has half the o-line the Patriots have. To think there are people that think Haley isn't an upgrade over BA simply amazes me.

In the game against the Bills they had TWO 100yd rushers AND TWO 100yd receivers! That is just sick my friends.

Absolutely, their no huddle is on another planet. The way they run it they make it impossible to defend the run or the pass.

I think it's funny that they somehow think they are getting a dig in on those of us that wanted BA gone. Um, no, news flash, we are freaking ecstatic! :dancing: I think Haley has been doing a great job, especially evident in Bens game. The lack of running game has been due to an inept line and our star RB on the sideline. Look what happened with the line performing better on Sunday and Mendy's return, I'm sure it will continue to improve from here on out.

You nailed it, Ben's progress alone speaks volumes. I am watching the replay of Sundays game, play calling was excellent. If the receivers showed up they would have had a monster day.

I'm so with Tomlin on this that we are basically siamese twins. This is so true! Haley is the man and I'd take him ANY day over BA. I think tomorrow night when I'm at the game I'm gonna get Beatlemania when I see Todd Haley. They're gonna have to carry me out like I've just seen Michael Jackson. I'm going to scream and cry and faint! I've got a FEVER and the ONLY prescription is more Haley!!!!!!!    :rockin:

If this is being interpreted as a Pro-BA post, I apologize, that was not my intent. That was not my intent.
I'm not a BA supporter, thought I think that the belief that all evil sprang from him was over done.

My point was::: The supposedly pass happy Pats, with pretty boy Tom Terrific are after 5 weeks running the ball down their opponents throats. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the defenders-of-the-faith, the Pittsburgh Steelers were wondering how to throw more because their running game stunk on ice.

    A world turned upside down.

Wait until this offense plays a team that just lays down and quits...then you'll see nubers like the Pats against Buffalo!

You may want to check your facts. The patriots offensive line is the weak spot on the team. They have only 2 starters returning from last year and one of them is dealing with injury. During the preseason they were abused and there was a lot of concern in New England for Tom Brady's health because of it.

And please don't take this as a pro BA post. I'm just interested in getting the facts right.

I take this info asa testament to the NE coaching staff and to Brady. As much as we love to hate them, they are the masters of adapting their game to whatever is need for them to be successful. Whether it be running multiple TEs, quick passing, super-efficient no-huddle, they get that offense working no matter what.

Their 1-word-play no-huddle that can run several plays both running and passing from the same sets keeps a nickel or dime defense on the field and then they run the ball at it. It is really a great strategy. The players need to be disciplined to do this and the QB must be a master of the plays and situation (which Brady is).

And even with this being their "weak spot" their O-line play is far better than Pittsburgh.

Did anyone really expect this offense to be perfect at the moment? We were supposed to be leaning on our D until the offense figured out what they were going to do. That hasn't happened. And just another point....after tonight no matter how many yards or points, etc that either team has given up.....We will still probably have the exact same record....

    Just another thing....

    TD...Ben 9, Brady 8
    INT...both 1
    Sacked...Ben 9....Brady 12
QB Rating....102.9 for Ben, 102.8 for Brady
    Yards a Game....Ben 268.3 Brady 274

Yep...Ben is behind in total passing yards, 328 to be exact, but he has done it in 1 less game.

nobody is proping up BA here, just showing the facts, and the facts are we ran the ball better under BA in his first 4 games then we did under haley. X 2. sorry you don't like the results, but they are what they are. we are also still kicking FG's when in the redzone. go figure.

I getcha. It's a crazy world we live in. :)
Except comparing those four games to these four games is like comparing apples to snowballs...or marshmallows to snowballs. Not a whole lot of relevancy in the comparison.

Ok if we are going to talk facts, BA had his star running back. Haley's star back was on the sidelines for 3 of the 4 games. Kicking field goals is the red zone? Before the Eagles game we were ranked 7th in red zone efficiency.
