Good, but the "Ike Taylor being out of the game due to 3rd degree burns" post from yesterday wins by a nose.

I saw that a few days ago on Twitter about Cortez Allen, so it didn't have quite the same effect for me. Fantastic nonetheless, though.

Well then... I didn't know he had plagiarized it.

I don't Twitter. Or Twatter. Or whatever the correct term is.

It may very well have been coincidental. I come up with funny stuff all the time, only to find out that someone beat me to the punch. Basically, I drink alone.

I might actually prefer drinking alone. Other people want to talk. Gets in the way of my drinking...

10-6 and I think we get in but screw that I want 11-5 and the 4th seed. It sucks so much to think if we took care of business earlier this year we would have the number one seed.

True Myron but I need us to play to our potential not what we have done. I am holding us to higher standard's.

The Steelers have one of the best conference records in the AFC, among teams that may be fighting for a wild card.

Whoa... editing... I just looked again... the Steelers at 7-3 have one of the best AFC conference records, period. I think only a couple division leaders are beating them: Broncos(8-1; division leader), Patriots (7-2; division leader)... and a tie with the 7-3 Colts (also a division leader).

The losses to Tampa Bay and New Orleans definitely sucked... but... like I said at the beginning of the season... better to lose to NFC teams. I think the conference record is more important.

Steelers are playing lights out offensively now as well so I don't think like perhaps others that Atlanta presents a huge challenge. If Julio is having issues with his hip it will indeed make a difference in the outcome.

Also, something else to think about in these final 3 weeks of the regular season: division games.

Division games are special. Any team can win because of team familiarity.

The Steelers sit in a great spot with a 3-2 division record. They only need to play the Bengals again. At worst they are going 3-3. At best, they will be 4-2 (I see this as likely).

The Ravens are 2-3 in the division (having been swept by the Bengals), and they still have to play a very hungry Browns team again. A Browns team that actually has what I'm sure they believe is a legitimate chance to get into the playoffs.

The Bengals are 2-2 in the division (with losses to the Steelers and Browns). They must face the Steelers at Heinz and the Browns again and in Cleveland. Two away division games will be a challenge. And like I said, the Browns are hungry.

The Browns are 2-2 in the division and will play the Ravens (@Ravens) and Bengals (@home) in these final three weeks. I see them winning one of these games.

All the Steelers need to do is handle their own business and they will take the division.

The Ravens have the easiest schedule though, many of the so called experts are predicting them to win the division.

The win at the Bengals gives us another week
to BS about our favorite team and HOPE that we
can somehow manage to make the playoffs.

Let's hope for a win against Atlanta first. KC is reeling right now. With the loss of Eric Berry because of his unfortunate diagnosis and the injury to Jamaal Charles plus Alex Smith struggles as well as they're swiss cheese run defense I believe this game will be a blowout. To end the season crushing carrot top and dumb dumb Marvin Lewis lead bungles will be sweet. The bungles are back! This game should be for the division and a home game.
