Well, like I said after Glenn was "killed", that it would be lame if they were going to make him live somehow and it was, BUT, I'm happy hes alive. He's the character I think who should survive the zombie apocalypse the most.

I was not expecting the zombies to get in before the break, I thought that was done well, people went from tears of joy to oh **** in an instant. Cue Daryl Sasha and Abraham to rescue people with the big truck. I hope they keep the core group together, I hate when they get split up.

And will there be a big death next week? Will whats his name actually kill Carl??? I knew he was up to no good.

That's inevitable I think. The who, how, where and why IDK exactly. But I don't see them living in Shangri LA together any time soon.

There will be death next week. Probably more than one. MAJOR characters? IDK... (wouldn't say anyway even if I did. Which I don't. I know a major scene from someone who witnessed it filming. I won't say more.)

This last bit is only for those who are familiar with the comics...

But going from the comics, I think Carl is soon going to have something in common with both the Governor and Lisa Lopez's nickname from the group TLC. ;)

The only Alexandrians I'd be bummed about dying will be Jessie and Aaron. Hopefully no major characters go.

Yeah. I mean, Alexandria is still overpopulated with red shirts. And with a herd that size, people WILL die. That's not a spoiler. Just common sense. ;)

Oh red shirts are going down in droves. The Wolves was just an appetizer.

Yay for Glenn! I knew Glenn and Enid would release the balloons as both a signal to Maggie and to let everyone know they were out there and needed help getting in, but I still got goosebumps when Maggie saw them and knew Glenn was okay and came back to her. I'm such a sap. :lolol:

I don't care if a ton of Alexandrians die. They all pretty much suck except for Jessie, Aaron and Spencer. I like Spencer because, well, he's hawt! :lolol: I hoping the Wolves guy that Morgan is harboring kills Carol, but I know I'll be disappointed yet again. *sigh*

It was so nice seeing my fave, Michonne, again this episode. I've missed her. Looking forward to seeing her slay some more walkers.

I wonder if Ron is going after Carl... or Rick.

Not surprised to see Glenn lived, just flatly disappointed in the way it was done.. Gimmickry 101. I don't exactly understand their reasoning in the walkers just losing interest and wandering off from the trash bin either - in S1 Glenn and Rick had to donn zombie guts head to toe-to-pass through a crowd of them undetected, but Glenn just slides under a trash bin? Must have been some pretty rancid meat in there, or maybe the walkers are suffering from some late fall allergies. Also, why would they so quickly wander off from a guy they saw shuffle (and can still feel) under a bin, but the half-horde that followed Rick back to Alexandria is still hanging around a huge obstacle they've got no clue what's beyond? Zombies. They're so hard to understand.

Speaking of counter-intuitive logic, though a minor quib - I didn't quite get Rick stating that Shady Kid would best not take target practice at any of the wall walkers because the noise would concentrate them to one section and danger its integrity, but later was pounding around on the wall with the extra bracers. I get that the extra support might have been deemed necessary, and thus a necessariy evil in terms of the noise. I can also entertain that Rick might have just been feeding Shady Kid a line to keep bullets out of his hands for the time being. But that's not how he came off, and no concerns were shown discussed by the group about the potential danger of the noise incurred if extra support was hammered into place, so it felt a little contradictory.

I did think the show had some genuinely good scenes stirring some intrigue - Morgan defending his code while admitting uncertainty in its ultimate place in this world, Shady Kid being shady, Deanna getting her groove back and presenting her plans for Alexandria Strikes Back to Rick/Michonne, Carol discovering Morgan nursing the Wolf. I really wish the show would explore more of the subtle dynamics that can crop up between raids and skirmishes. The Morgan arc is a good example - sometimes the paths people want to follow are very close, yet still have substantial differences. Which to follow, and what effect will it have on the people involved?

I think the writers often miss the wealth of opportunity they have with these kinds of situations, opting instead to regurgitate the same old 'should Rickocracy reign becuase the Alexandrians are naive and will get everybody killed' -type themes that are tired (yet another moment this week with the Alexandrian helping Rick brace the wall, "You know, we didn't trust you at first, but turns out you saw things") and lack depth. We get it.. Rick and Co are the blue collars that have been out there in the Real World: Zombie Apocalypse and Other Weird Sh*t!, to the Alexandrians' white-collared life of shelter behind the wall - find another angle to explore; there's plenty available, as evident this week, and would be much more satifsying.

As far as the whole Glenn thing goes yeah I think it is lame but this is tv. Let's not forget we are all sitting around every Sunday night to watch a show about......ZOMBIES!!!! It's like watching the A-Team where thousands of rounds get fired but nobody gets shot. For you younger people the A-Team was a show on tv every week in the 80's, yeah I am showing my age.

Sadly, there are those who think this fictional TV show is real life. [IMG]

Yeah, it's one of the reasons I feel like a heel for critiquing it at times - a bit of an oxymoron to say the show didn't feel realistic (no offense to any zombies reading this). All shows to some degree require a suspension of disbelief - WD can be so frustrating for me because at times it can totally pull me in despite the premise, but then (and more often of late, imo) narrow its focus to cliched interpersonal conflicts that snap the illusion.

And I mean no disrespect to anyone or their opinions cause I too catch myself saying WTF was that and get all pissed off. But at the end of the day it isn't based on a true story so you just have to say man it's Hollywood for ya, jmo.

I'm betting Carl will be saved by the building collapsing on the wall which bringing in the walkers.

Yeah, and as a poster above noted, I think Sasha and Abraham showing up with newly acquired RPG's in tow will play a role in some of the group escaping the horde.

Only somebody really dumb would think that people believe this show is real. :lollmao:

Probably but that would be a really shocking death, something they tried to trick us into with Glenn.

Honestly I didn't think the whole Glenn thing was THAT unbelievable.
I actually think them getting out of Terminus was more unbelievable. There were bullets flying & walkers everywhere.
I'm very anxious about this finale- I just hope no one dies that I really like. I hope Abraham, Sasha, Daryl, Glenn, & Enid make it back to help.
I don't know what should be done about Morgan (if he even survives this episode.) Part of me wants him banished. I get why he's fighting to hang on to this "all life is precious" way of life. He can't live like that & live with others- he's already gotten people killed & he's about to get more people killed. It's his fault that the walkers are outside Alexandria in the first place. If Morgan would've just killed the wolves instead of letting them go, they wouldn't have attacked Rick. Rick coulda used the RV to lead the walkers away. But Rick shot up the RV trying to defend himself.
I'd like to think that Carl is gonna be safe. But I'm not counting on it. I'm worried about Eugene & his mullet.
I hate that this is the mid-season finale. It goes by wayyyy too fast. There is one good thing about it though. The Steelers have 2 Sunday night games coming up & we won't have to miss TWD to watch them.

I don't know, how many dumpsters are there out there that you can actually crawl under? Especially ones with lids? You have to do some serious searching for one without wheels that you can squeeze under as well.

It could've been on blocks. I'm not sure why they do that- but I've seen dumpsters on blocks before. I wasn't really paying attention to whether the dumpster was sitting on anything or not.

The South. There's an object-on-block per square mile requirement in most southern states. Object-on-block in front yard or porch counts for double points.

Tonight's mid-season finale is only an hour? Yet the Morgan-centric episode was 90 minutes? Boooooo!

I don't care... I'm eagerly anticipating tonight's show anyway. :lolol:
