Great observation by Ray, regarding Rick, and whether he is becoming "evil", or just doing what it takes to survive...

There was a good line by Morgan, about "Yeah, but you`re a killer too, Rick, and so am I"
    (paraphrasing),

As they put the body in the trunk, to go bury it...

Reminds me of a quote from the Fear the Walking Dead series, when the shop owner is telling his daughter, as she pleads to stay with the primary group...
Daughter... "But Dad, they`re GOOD people!!!"...
Father... "Good people are the first to die in these situations.."...

Sad but true, and resonated with me like nothing else in either of these series...

They`ve had some awesome action sequences, and moral dilemmas, great "good guy/bad guy" face offs...

But that quote just hit my brain like Rick tomahawking the guy in the prison, with a machete, for some reason...

    Great show!!!:rawk:

As for what`s going on now...

Eugene is hilarious.. Find it hard to believe he could have survived this long, on his intellect alone, but his dialogue never fails to leave me laughing ridiculously!!:applaud:..
And he has had his moments of contributing to the group, even if it was based on a lie... He paid his price, at the hands of Abraham(? is that the name of the red headed ex-soldier?)

Speaking of which, if anyone is going to come unglued this season, my money is on him..

Dude is not right in the head right now!!!

It does seem that the writers always rely on someone sabotaging the place the group is staying, to put them on the road again, with the exception of having to flee the farm..

I love the "twists" that this series puts in the show.

And I agree with Daryl, on the "recruiting" issue...

So whats everyones guess? Do we lose a big cast member tonight? Thats a lot of freaking walkers and the wolves are there too, Im afraid we lose someone

I dont see how they can get that herd back under control, to spread out and into the woods now.

WOW. This episode was not what I was expecting and it did NOT disappoint in any way.

Crazy, why the heck were they chopping them up into pieces?!?

Bigbunch, JSS - Just Survive Somehow.

Im wondering if anyone has told the woman guarding the armory if its over :lolol:

I was actually worried that Morgan was going to get shot by her, thought thats what he was walking into. So did he kill the lead Wolf guy???

    Great episode.

Those pictures were Aaron's that he carried with him to show new recruits what their community was like. He lost his bag last year when he and Daryl almost got caught in the wolves trap. And the Wolves found it.

It's unclear if Morgan killed him or not. On one hand, his "sorry" suggests he killed him because he had no choice. OTOH, he appeared to just knock him out. Could his "sorry" just be a response to the guy saying "you can't do it. Can you?"

I guess we'll find out in the next 2-3 weeks. Probably not next week though, as it seems next week focuses on what's going on away from Alexandria.

I'm not sure what's motivating the Wolves. They seem deranged but with purpose. Kevin Smith suggested they were cult like on The Talking Dead, and it does seem that way. That big guy saying, "You don't belong here. People don't belong anywhere." (or close enough) makes me think they're some kind of end of the world / death cult. Another told Morgan they didn't "choose" this life. Almost like they believe it's their duty.

But then why bother capturing people? They were clearly trying to take a few captives. And why don't they have firearms? They took down Noah's family's safe haven. They took down other communities and groups. They never scavenged guns? Or are they so berserk, they run out of ammo too quickly? The 2 guys that accosted Morgan last year had a gun, but no ammo. Funny how he met both of them again. One listened and ran, the other? We don't know his fate. ;) (But if he's alive and Carol sees him, he's dead anyway)

I'm puzzled how Morgan got there so quickly and nobody else did. He was standing next to Rick when the horn sounded, unless I don't remember that right.

One last thing gnawing at me...

What was Enid going to say before Carl interrupted? "This place is too big to defend. There's too many blind spots. That's how we..."

We... what?!?!?! Who is "we?" Is she one of the Wolves? "That's how we were able to get in so easily?" Or was she going to say that's how her family got cornered and died? Or did she come from another community that got annihilated? Argh!!!

Now, the con against her being a Wolf is that they didn't seem to know about Alexandria until they saw the pictures. BUT, last season, Enid was constantly sneaking out for reasons unknown.

Or (for those familiar with the Comics story line),
is she one of the Saviors? "That's how we are going to attack / take this place over."

Great show last night. @Ray D@Ray D , I believe Enid was talking about how "we" meaning her and carl were able to sneak out a few times.

I didn't even realize those were the same 2 guys that Morgan had encountered last season. Great catch.

Anybody know what was in that Truck's trailer? Walkers?

I was thinking he didn't kill him. Like, 'sorry to disappoint you'. Who knows though.

That was annoying to me. Morgan shows up seemingly moments after the horn blows, but no one else that was with him ever appears. Also, thanks for trying to pussify Carol, Morgan. The in-your-face moral compass character at this point in the show seems almost inappropriate.

Hard to say. There's definitely more to her story.

I had 2 of the thoughts that were already mentioned...

Glad Morgan didn`t get shot by the "nurse" in the closet, and how did he get there so far ahead of Rick, and Michonne, when they started running for "home"?!?

I kept waiting for them to show up, and, "Save the Day"...

    Didn`t happen...

I`m also curious if there are walkers in the truck that crashed and stuck the horn on... Although, I didn`t hear any "growling", once the horn was shut off...

That was an intense episode... Love how Carl just takes the food outta the oven, at the end, when the timer goes off...

Like, Just another day at the end of the world...

Seemed like he was getting a little too civilized, when he hesitated to finish off the wolf, that begged for his life...

But the other kid didn`t want no part of going in the house with him, when he offered... LOL...

It is curious that the "Wolves", DON`T have guns, and/or ammo, after whatever they`ve been doing...

No matter what... There is still a huge herd of walkers heading towards Alexandria, from the overhead shot, at the end of the episode, the week before...

How they gonna deal with that???

Run into the woods where the Wolves are?

Can`t have enough ammo to fend off the herd headed their way...

Hope the zombies disperse, after the truck horn was shut off?

    This should be good...

    AWESOME show!

    pussify Carol :lollmao:

I love how she came up on them and shot Morgans captive. I like Morgan but his way got a lot of people killed. I think he feels that because he lost his way and came back, that the Wolves can too.

I think just because he was human although he did unload on that kid at the prison easy enough. He was in a different headspace back then though.

My guess about the wolves and guns, they like the killing better with knives, axes and machetes. They dont really seem of sound mind.

Morgan is pissing me off! Come on! You see a guy hacking the crap out of someone who didn't do jack to him and you think, "It's ok just leave and never come back...", is an appropriate response.

Carol didn't have to shoot the guy on the ground, but I understand her frame of mind with all the killing going on by those jackasses.

I feel like Morgan is trying to hold on to his humanity and just isn't willing to give that up even though it doesn't make as much sense at this point in the story. I think maybe he doesn't want people to get to the point that killing humans isn't a big deal, because once that happens, people will be more likely to kill for any reason rather than necessity.

Good episode, and it was cool to see Carol back in action.

Wow. That might just have been my favorite episode of the entire series.
As for why the blonde chick's son wouldn't go into the house with Carl, I assume he was pissed that Enid was there.
Can't figure out the Wolves. Not sure what their angle is, and what they want to do, besides cause chaos. I can only assume we haven't seen the last of the Wolves.
And I lost it when Carol shot Morgan's captive. That was awesome.

Dunno if anyone pointed this out or not, but Enid spelled backwards is Dine. Maybe she's a cannibal too?
