While there wasn't a ton of action in this episode, I really liked what it was setting up.
I loved Rick's last line before the opening credits. "Good thing we're here" :lolol:

While I would like to think that this place is a safe haven, I think we all know otherwise.
I'm interested what they have in store for Abraham too. I just can't see him being a good little soldier and following orders too well if he doesn't believe these people are on the up and up.

Good episode, but I think I have an issue with just too many people. There's not enough time in every hour to flesh out what everyone is doing.
What has Abraham, Rosita and Eugene been up to?
    What about Gabriel?

I will say that was some pure evil coming out of Carol's mouth to the kid who saw her.

I said out loud, "Daaamn, that's a little dark for you, Carol". I love her Suzy Homemaker act, though.

Kevin Smith was on Talking Dead afterwards and said he was half expecting Carol to say, just look at the flowers :roflmao:

I'm starting to think that Ricks group is going to be the ones who muck up Alexandria :hmmm:

Yeah, I think Carol scared me a little. I looked over at my wife right after that scene and she was just staring at the screen with her eyes wide.

I liked the episode. I say again what I said last week; they're doing a great job of giving you a really unsettled feeling without being able to pinpoint anything really malicious happening (other than the dramatic music in some scenes).

So Rick is clearly going to kill Dr. Douchebag...

First, he's a douchebag and needs killing.

Second, his wife is hot. And Rick's been on one hell of a dry spell.

Now, maybe Dr. Douchenozzle ends up being abusive (predictable) and Rick goes all Shane on him. But even that would just be an excuse. Rick's going to do it anyway, he'll just find a justification.

That look he gave them. That was NOT an "Aw. She's purty. I'd like to hold her hand and bake her cookies. Her husband is one lucky guy." That was an "I'm going to kill him and chain her in my basement" look.

What was it Rick said? Oh, yeah, "People measure you by what they can take from you." And ol' Rick's planning on doing some taking.

Then again, it's probably the more effective play. The last time he tried to steal a mans wife, it was pretty pathetic:

Yeah, it seems as though they're kind of setting up the scenario where Rick's group is the one who is the threat to Alexandria. They could totally take it without much trouble. The group has gone through a ton of **** and are totally battle hardened. I wouldn't be surprised to see a series of "accidents" happen. I could totally see Glen make the senator's douchebag son get taken down by walkers.
It's only a matter of time before Rick gets his trophy. But, I kind of thought they were building towards something cooking between Michone and Rick, before blondie got in the way. BTW, you're right, Alexandra Breckenridge is HOT. Look at her in the first season of American Horror Story.
That being said, I'm almost positive there will be some kind of "main" character death in the next couple of weeks. I'm guessing a break in the wall perhaps? My most likely characters are either Rosita or Eugene.

I was wondering how things might go bad in Alexandria besides it being Ricks group. The other two possibilities is:

There's still the girl who is sneaking out, probably to meet the 3 people expelled from there as Strummer pointed out.

    Or

You still turn after you die, maybe there is an accidental death that no one is aware of, could turn ugly quickly as per the prison episode. You would think regular check ups with the doc would be mandatory but still, people die accidentally.

I agree, we're going to lose some people from the group before the next 3 episodes are done.

Ooh yeah, I forgot about that. That's a huge issue that I forgot about. Maybe one of the older couple that were playing with Judith? I could totally see one of them turn and bite the other, then someone goes to see them, and they get bit...
I'd be willing to bet that the people in Alexandria have no idea that you turn after you die.

Oh, I'm very familiar with her and AHS. She was also in the Coven season. Look her scenes from True Blood up (nsfw). Thank me later ;).

And now Rick has a reason to pop Jessies husband :butcher:

Guess I know how things are going to go bad now in Alexandria

Yep, maybe there's a reason Dr. Douche is an alcoholic (or appears to be).

Or maybe he's just a mean drunk who likes to beat on his family. either way, Rick didn't need a reason to kill him. An excuse is nice though.

Good episode. Lots of things going on and story advancement. Kudos to the special FX team with this episode, they did some great work.
It seems as though the Alexandrians don;t have a clue about the outside world and are all just afraid of the walkers. Both times we saw that their solution to the problem was to cut and run. It was nice to see Abraham get to flex his muscle a bit, and for Eugene to grow a pair.
Seems awfully convenient for Rick with Dr Drunkard. And what's the deal with Gabriel? He's a first class jackass. They should have left his ass back at the church. I wonder if he's even really a priest to begin with.

They really don't have any experience dealing with them and yes, their plan of action is to cut and run,
Nicholas even said that to Aidan before leaving him to die. I'm curious as to how Deanna will respond to the death of her son in light of Gabriels warning. You know Nicholas will blame it all on Glenn and his group but the fact Noha died should even the scales a bit, would have been really bad if everyone from Glens group showed up alive and only Aidan dead.

I hadn't thought of their being a twist with Jessies situation, maybe she is beating the son and the husband drinks to cope with it, maybe that would explain why the son broke the owl statue.

Gabriel has been useless to the group since day one, even Eugene pulls his weight with his intelligence and even grew a pair in this episode and saved Tara. But Gabriel, he has to go, either expelled, eaten or killed by Maggie.

And, the more I think about this, if I am in the ZA I'm going to find myself aligned with a group that
has at least one black guy in it. Apparently if you're a black male you aren't long for this world. At least I can get away while they're munching on him
    :roflmao:

That was awesome. I don't really think there's some kind of racist undertone, it's just kind of amusing to me.

And, now that I think about it, is Glen the only Asian we've seen in the show? Can't think of another we've seen at all. Anywhere.

What's interesting is that it always happens after they come around to being a real solid contributor to the group that they are taken out.
I'm really disappointed in the Priest pulling that crap after all he's done to screw his congregation over and getting the group them almost killed at the church.
