The Toilet Bowl: 1-2-1 Steelers vs 1-3 Falcons

2 teams that have souped up offenses (at least on paper).

Matt Ryan has a host of weapons in Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Mohamed Sanu, Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman, Austin Hooper and a solid OL featuring Pro Bowlers LT Jake Matthews and C Alex Mack.

Our defense's kryptonite is QBs who can really sling it like Ryan, big fast WRs like Jones and Ridley, elusive RBs like Freeman and Coleman and stopping athletic TEs like Hooper.

I would expect a high scoring game with both teams scoring 40+ points. We will have to outgun them to win it. Defense will be at a minimum for both teams.

Should be a fun game that's the model of the fantasy-football era NFL. All offense and zero defense.

 

Both teams should just do onside kicks after each score

Go shoot out style don't even roster a Punter .4 downs every drive no fg's or punts the entire game .. Also go for 2 on every score ..If I was the Coach I would do this probable best chance to win ..

If you could get the Falcons to agree to do the same then first Team to 100 wins ...

 

I bet there's an ejection or 2 in this one.

Rams vs. Chiefs would not be offensive, but I can see the Chiefs choking vs. Patriots in AFC Championship. And Rams choking in the Super Bowl vs. Patriots.

Patriots, Belichick and Brady will never end. It's like we're living in some kind of repetitive hell with no way out. And the Steelers can't and won't do anything about it.

 

Average points last 3 games, Falcons 35-Steelers 27, looks like our defense has a problem on their hands....

 

If we don't win it, I hope the Rams do . Got big money on them at 17 to 1 (got in before they got Cooks)

 

Well it will be played at arrowhead and it doesnt look like mahomes is going to choke any time soon......

 

The Falcons offense scares me .They have serious down field speed, which we struggle to defend.

I don't think we match up well with them.

 

Let's see how Mahomes adapts to the cold of November and December. Many of these current hot QBs come back down to earth when the winter sets in.

 

Mahomes didnt have any problem beating Denver in 16 degree weather with minus 5-10 wind chill at Denver december 31 last year....

 

Hopefully Brady will have osteoarthritis by the end of the season. Get two new teams in the SB.
