I brought a boat down the rivers from Chicago in '94 and part of the trip was on the Tennessee river. That's all I've seen of that state. Looked nice though!

 

here's a quick note

the flag in ANIMAL HOUSE
during student court (double secret probation scene)
is the Tennessee flag
although the movie didn't take place in Tn

why would you guys jump on the tn river coming from Chicago ?

I know it dumps into the ohio which dumps into the Mississippi which runs along the western tn bank

tn river runs down into Alabama and then back up into tn
sure you didn't enjoy that part best ?

although I've seen the entire tn river pretty much and it's valley is beautiful and TVA maintains it exceptional

my favorite part is lake Guntersville

 

We came down from Chicago to Mobile mostly because there was a good chance of finding a marina every night. I only had to anchor on the river 3 times. My favorite part of the whole trip was Kentucky lake. Beautiful place!

 

Florida is a nice state this time of year. I REFUSE to talk about TN here! LOL!!!

NO! We need a TIME ZONE THREAD! LOLOLOLOL!!!! darcrav was trying to convince SteelHurtin' that Nashville wasn't in the eastern time zone and I was saying that they were in a wimpy central time zone and that started an epic discussion of why the eastern time zone if the greatest of all time zones. Then you became infuriated and punched your computer screen and told us never to come here again and to sell our computers on ebay. At least that's how I remember it. What's your version???

 

We're having a cold snap here. It dropped down to 72 degrees today! Brrr!

That's not EXACTLY the way I remember it. I was thinking that you were just WATCHING alligator wrestling but from what you just said it seems to imply you were ACTUALLY wrestling them yourself. All the other stuff is basically true though. LOL. Also Swamp People is about to start a new season! YES! CHOOTEM LIZABUTH!
