Just have a feeling it could turn into a "Price is right", kinda deal, where 1st posters put up their guesses, then later posters, try to get JUST a point or so, above or below what they were thinking, when they see what`s been guessed.
I don`t know if anyone takes this too seriously, but I could see ways to take advantage of waiting to post, late in the thread.
I almost changed my pick, after seeing Ray`s similar pick, but felt "unethical" about it... If people wanted to screw up the process, they could just try to produce a ton of ties, with the later picks.
I would like to think, that my fellow STEELER fans, would be above that, but this IS the internet, after all...
Probably gonna have to go with the "honors system", I would guess...

yeah I definitely looked at everyone elses scores before I did mine. And a few others already had the scores that I wanted and I didn't want to step on anyones toes, so I adjusted accordingly. I guess maybe we should come to an agreement on picking the same scores. Personally, Im okay with someone after me taking the same score...thats what the tie breaker is for. So if anyone else wants 27-10, pick away.

I never really thought much about this. I pick my score and post it before even looking at anyone else's so I won't be influenced by others' guesses. If it ends up being the same as someone else, it just means we both have the same feeling about it, and the passing yards will make the difference if it comes down to it.

Alienux... I like that idea.
I think I will do the same in the future.
I am just so used to scrolling thru the replies before I post, that I never thought of hitting the "post Reply" button, before I had read the responses.
That`s probably why I am usually confused when I see people post replies that have either already been addressed, or make no sense, given previous replies.
I never thought about people who either don`t read the whole thread before they reply, or people who have the settings to where it reads "last post first".
I don`t even know if this board does that. I know the other one did, and it never made sense to me. Why would you respond to the last post, if you didn`t know what the conversation was, that led up to it?

This is the perfect week for a contrarian. Steelers lose in Den so they have a point to prove. NYJ blows out a likely-overrated Bills team and they're feeling better than they should. Can't imagine the Steelers losing this one at home, and I can't imagine Sanchez tossing for 300yd like a lot of people have here.

Im going to just start replying without reading. But Ive been reading first, not to get any input, but rather to not take the same score as someone else. But from here on out, I'll just give the pick.

For normal threads, I always read through before posting so I don't repeat what someone else said, or so I can quote them and add my thoughts to theirs. For predict the score and other threads like this, I post without looking so I'm going with my gut rather than an influence from other posters.

Steelers usually always play well at home, usually always play well at home openers, and most time play a lot better after a loss.
