You can't win in the playoffs unless you have 3 good veteran RBs on the roster . We know it's Tomlin's fault that Bell was injured the last 2 seasons and missed the playoffs, and Tomlin didn't sign a adequate backup RB.

Averaging 250 carries a season and only 1 fumble for the last 5 years. Three headed monster of Bell, DWill, and Forte or if they can get Steven Jackson for cheap.. The 4 Horsemen can lead us to 7!

I can already see it now... Forte lead Patriots will beat us in the AFC Champ game to our 4th string rb to keep the streak going!

Sidenote - If it came down to Forte or a quality db. I want the quality db. I got faith Toussaint or Todman will be an okay 3-4th string with some reps and preparation that their coach robbed them of before putting them in the biggest game of their life.

I say don't feed the pre-pubescent beast that only comes here to inflame people. Maybe we should all block him for like the next 3 or 4 years until we are sure that he has made it through that awkward stage in life that makes you do and say really stupid stuff until one day you wake up and are actually a fully functional adult capable of doing more than saying or thinking or doing the same thing over and over and over again. All those changes going through your body right now are totally normal kid. Hair is supposed to be sprouting, your voice is supposed to be changing, and when it's all over you will be able to actually understand how to rationally interact with other humans. I long for the day...

Forte came into the league a year after Marshawn but has 3000 more all-purpose yards.

Therefore Forte is a sure fire HOF... oh wait he never became the focus of the NFL hype team so he is never mentioned period.

Forte would be great for the Colts who have never been able to find a decent RB or the Pats.

Forte is still a top 10 RB.

Obviously not for the Steelers ever.

RB D.J. Foster out of Arizona State would be a good pickup in the draft. Running back turned receiver for his senior year. He'll probably play RB in the pros. You wouldn't lose much if he subbed in for Bell in the passing game. 6' 195lbs. Probably a mid to late rounder. Won't run thru many guys but he has enough wiggle to move the chains. Would be a good candidate for KR duties as well imo.

Steelers do not need another RB, all they need to do is work Touisant in with more carries and get him more acclumated, I know he fumbled but remember this play from our hall of fame back with well over 10 years of experience.

I mean without Bens tackle our # 5 trophy would have never happened

I wasn't being serious with signing Forte, hence it was in green in the original post inside joke.

I don't think they should draft a RB at all, they could probably sign one as UDFA.

I thought Toussaint did well up until the fumble. I would love the Steelers to draft Jordan Howard of Indiana if he is available late. Though the Steelers have few late picks.

    I want a power back!!!

Not only would Steven Jackson not have fumbled, he would have forced the Denver backs to fumble by using his telekinesis from the sideline.

In fact... I'm wondering if that's what happened to Toussaint. You think Peyton's forehead is all for show?
